This is my 100th compo! Love all of you. I've definitely improved over 6 years, and enjoy hearing progress from everyone else. Starla thanks for putting these on for forever!

What if you amped a FLUTE (it actually sounds pretty terrible so I had to tone it down a bunch)

Fire trees and floating leaves
The wind flies by and I can see your... heart(? I guess?)

I really need to turn the gate off my mic

Far underneath the Black Bird Bar.

I am honestly, super freakin' proud of this. I only did minimal quantize and note correct on those solos, left them mostly just how I played em.

Aliens Are Slowly Getting It

"hey uh, whats the best way to disguise our alien ship from these humans?"

"erm, what if we make it look like a dark foreboding monolith that would scare any sensible being away?"

"naa these are humans. They would probably just argue over who gets to touch it first"

All the same has happened before. But something, something makes it special every time.

So, I came up with the first melody and wondered why the click was so screwed up. Basically today I learned how to change cubase to 3/4 time *eye roll*

I have no idea what I am doing, kinda figured it out as I was going. Kinda starts to come together at the end.

At the heart of every marking someone puts on their body they are either being inspired by the past, or aspiring to their future.

A cross between Brazil and sunbathing. Actually... super proud of this one. Huge inspiration from the rather obscure "Meet the two-leggers" (can't find on youtube or would link). But it has the sameish progression and happy feel.

Dim Streets

Well, I just got back from Japan and thought there would be no problems first time turning my computer on in two weeks. Was recording the second half of the trumpet when everything broke. Had to switch audio drivers and slap a lazy ending.... wouldn't recognize my keyboard. Just glad Cubase auto-saved the rest tho!

In the hidden streams and among the huge waterfalls - all small dancing drops. (AAAA I was planning on fixing the strings sidechain but no time lol)

Wisp

One lazy wisp of the fall wind sails over a stream covered in floating orange leaves.

A bit less polished, but I think I got the atmosphere.

Out here... isn't there something important? Why are you... what are you even doing?
You squint your eyes as something emerges in the distance... you don't even care if its real anymore!

Started 17 minutes late and then scrapped my first two pieces... I have been playing around with this tune for a week or so now and decided to use it.
This is like... super short and meh.

Wha... wasn't he here just a second ago... or was it an hour ago... wow, I can't even remember his name. Or the name of this place... does these halls ever end?

hah it gets pretty sloppy at the end

Stumbling in you lean against the rotting door-frame, looking around the massive room. Books! Thousands of millions of books scattered across the rooms and shelves. None of them are legible, the winds of time turning them to dust at the first touch. You take a moment to imagine what it was like... way back then...

Heh I got started 30 minutes late... but I am glad I got to submit anything at all, sunday rehursal ended early this time *fhew*. Hope you enjoy!

A World Against You

Trapped, where horrible things happen under a veil of innocence, but with a familiarity you long for... how hard would it be to just give in and live this new life thrust upon you....

I didn't like how boring the beginning tempo was. So I changed it XD

Snow Covered Branches

I decided to go for a really ambient stringy feel, just playing along on the piano for most of the part. Still a fun challenge to do these things in under an hour...

And sorry this is a bit late, I literally had a friend upload it from his computer.
