I think the sound design in DDRKirby's was pretty inspiring. I really liked the interplay between the different synths that gave it both that retro feeling but also a modern edge.

JH Sounds had a really nice groove going, very bouncy, almost disco like.

ethansight had a good turnaround, it turned about my expectations a lot and got into a nice vibe.

Ashka's soundscape won it for me, although nukage's vibe was also excellent; just less elaborated.

I actually managed to reply to all the comments this time, because i needed to explain the cover i did, which was pointless, as everyone ended up knowing what the song was lol. So i'll just focus on the entries yes? For those i didn't respond to, thanks for the kind words!

Let's do this...

TheVideoGamer - I think i've already said enough with regards to the track. It's a Kraftwerk cover of Numbers. Not only is the most influential when it came to developing dance music, it was also a major factor into the hip hop scene. It basically invented Techno, based on the influences of Electro. It's kind of a weird and wonderful web of influences. People also like to shit on this for being repetitive, which i felt was more on me than on the original. I just wanna say i covered the original, i didn't necessarily change much. This is not even their most repetitive, as Boing Boom Tschak from Electric Café takes the cake. Nor is this the pinnacle song to listen to. They're other songs that are a must, i just did this one based on the time it would take for me to recreate this, as well as the relevancy to the theme. My first idea was flagging a bit, so this was the next best thing. All in all, glad you got something out of it!

cotmm68030 - No 6 minutes? Are you the same guy? The sound effects are WEEEIRRD. And i like that a lot. That's ignoring the sea of over distorted Trent Reznor inspired vocals, which really play into the intense industrial vibes of this piece I actually like the way it blends into the melody (Or at least what's considered a melody). The mix could be polished in my opinion. When the vocals come in, the whole thing gets pushed down, and the SFX can be a little off-putting personally. However the idea was really cool, this has room for expansion. Good job!

DarkShadow - You seem to have like 1 sample pack that is your go to for drum sounds. This is the first DarkShadow record where you actually give us breathers before each phrase. Basically it's not a constant onslaught of noise unlike your others are lol. The Dubstep effects were sadly a bit much for my liking. Good job though!

InedibleTrout - I always seem a little alarmed by your overabundance of very quite waveforms lol. Still though, it's all in the music. I like me some minimalism, but if i have to honest, this feels like there is no direction. It's more of a Jam than anything else, with an assortment of sound design that is more you experimenting. Not my cup of tea, sorry. Good job though!

Koekepan - I really like the FM styled sounds in this. Feels very much like it belongs to interrogation scene in some Action/Sci Fi Movie. The idea is lovely here, the melody is very tight, and the chords are great. The bassline is the weakest part of the piece for me. In a polite way, it sounds like a fart lol. But i'm not ruling this one out, because i was really drawn to the melody work, it was super catchy. Well done!

Ethansight - Now these are some cool Ethansight like chords. It's like were going on an Adventure. String work is very nicely mixed, really captures the spirit of the theme. Very futuristic towards the end. House grooves are tight, big fan of the bass work. Yeah it still needs a bit of polish not gonna lie, but the idea was extremely tight, and the melodies were great. Just a ton of fun, well done!

Hemophilliac - Ooh i like this organ like sound. Has a mix of some reverbed mallet and a sine wave. The drums are really techno-ey and really capture the groove well. The melodies were fire, however even though the drums are good, i don't feel they make their presence known as much as they should. I mean i could attribute it to the extremely quiet waveform of this piece, however in general, the whole thing feels like it's trying to compensate for some loudness. I feel it has potential, like it's a lovely start. Good job!

DDRKirby(ISQ) - Thick reverbed basses oooo. Really blends the 80's styled synth work, with the futuristic techno beats, as well as the signature chiptune. This one feels more atmospheric than a normal DDR styled piece. I mean you do include atmosphere in your pieces, it's normal. In this case though, it's very atmospheric, almost like your in space. The climax was pretty awesome, that lead solo kicks things into more of an epic journey. I mean what can i say, there was nothing bad in this, it was just another awesome piece. Awesome work!

Nukage - Moar vocals! This is some really dark stuff, perfect for the theme. This time were going into some deep kick territories. So much so, the clap is really getting pushed down. The idea is lovely as always, your production values are awesome, but this unfortunately feels like an incomplete demo. It's very short, the sidechain is a bit too uneven (The kick is super strong, but the clap is super weak). However though, despite that i had a lot of fun on it, and there is a lot of potential here, so good job!

Barley - This sounds tad bit punky. I like how clear the vocals are here, probably the best mixed vocals to date. However the backing track is sadly uneven. Your guitar tone is quite bright in this one, and a bit hard to decipher. It feels like it's almost like background noise. The rest of the track also feels like it's being pushed down by the tone. I still liked it though, like the others, it has a lot of potential, it was a tone of fun, good job!

Arcana - Your vocals are extremely distorted i'm sorry. The piano is super lovely, but the vocal gain is way too high. I couldn't say much else, the vocal was really distracting. I'm sorry. Good job though!

Ashka - It's the first chord. The first chord just hits me. Like the progressions, the spices, the way you mix. I'm not even gonna comment on it. Even the most unbiased of listens still makes you number one. Like it should be "vote Ashka #1" because you deliver every god dammed week. IT'S JUST SOO GOOD DAMM AMAZING MAN!!

Misael.K - Again this is the no entries over 3 minutes compo. We all seem to be locking in at 1 minute lol. Next it will be 30 seconds haha. That is one sexy solo. The reverb on it, is tasty as well. It really gets me in the chills. Feels like a perfect intro to some kind of band show or something. The chords took me by surprise, i was not expecting those kinds of chords for this kind of melody. Still though, extremely tasty chords. The bass work is super strong, bother figuratively and literally. It almost makes it feel bass boosted a tad. However though, the solo is fantastic, and the wait it mixes with the 80's chords is also awesome. Amazing work!

JH Sounds - You have very distinctive chord progressions, that sound like a good ol' classic chord progression, but you throw in a secret chord that is unexpected, but works strangely well. It feels like a variation of an old JH record that i can't seem to put my finger on, but i think it was in the 670's, i can't be bothered looking it up. Still though, lovely singing, i can never find anything bad about your pieces, it's just a ton of fun, sweet lyric writing, great sounds! Well done!

Coloradoweeks - I don't know why you need to apologise lol. This was an admin error, not a user error. It should close at 10:31, that's how it's always been. The chords are beautifully chorused, and the drum work is super funky and tight. Your background vocals is pretty awesome too. The drums are just soo funky, can't get over how funky they are. The harmonies are just soo good too. Say hello to the little one for me :). Awesome work!

DJohn - The master of deep reversed piano. Really liking the way the reverse vocal snippets work in this. The melodies and chords are super emotional, it really fits the theme super well actually. Drum work is also really great. The singing is fantastic as always. Just light emotional ballad music done extremely well. It was great. Awesome work!

Top 3 - Ashka, Misael.K, DDRKirby(ISQ).

Coloradoweeks and DJohn were also awesome entries that needed to be on the list.
