Astral bodies and seascape horizon? It's strings and pads night. Something of an epic cosmic piece to play when realizing one's true potential.
Every Thursday night, a strange phenomena occurs somewhere around the world. An unmeasurable energy permeates the internet, and all the muses suddenly hear their names called at the same time.
the spectrograph of this track resembles abstract dual sunsets over ocean waves
Unfamiliar skies
Unfamiliar waters
This lone explorer stares
Glowing moons arise
Undiscovered matters
Standing on alien shores
When I get back home
So many lightyears ago
Who will I tell my story to?
Will all be strangers
To hear my story of when
I stood on alien shores
I'm in a No Man's Sky phase right now, so when I saw the theme for this week's compo, I obviously couldn't resist conjuring up a little space magic this fair night.
[Verse]
Oh, I wanna love you for life
Oh, I want you here by my side
Oh, you are more than a friend
Oh, can you love me again?
Oh, with the globe ever close
Oh, what a sight to behold
Oh, as the waves crash and ebb
Oh, will you love me again?
[Bridge]
Oh, I see it so clearly
That I've got to let you know
Oh, I love you so dearly
and I would hate to see you go
[Verse]
Oh, with the sphere on the coast
Oh, I adore you the most
Oh, though the view never ends
Oh, can you love me again?
say goodbye, stay alive
I kind of meant this to sound like you're riding a hoverbike around but I think it ended up more like a pirate shanty???
This track has the synthetic ideas you might associate with trance music, but infused with a breakbeat tinge to it. So it's breakbeat, mixed with trancey elements. Although it's a very peaceful almost calming kind of image, it actually has a bit of that space like atmosphere to it, so i didn't want to just make happy music. I also wanted to try and have 2 distinct sections, that still play off each other, whilst sounding different. In a way it's part space music, part beach like music. All in all, i hope you get something out of this, i like what i've done here.
Lost in the solemn abyss of the infinite horizon
