IO: Everything fits together like a puzzle piece, and considering the genre, its an achievement. It was like slow psy-trance, and I loved every second of it
johnfn: Honestly, just a very tight cohesive experience. That little breakdown towards the end sold it - and that intro slid all over the place it was awesome.
SCI THAT WAS the best laugh I have had in a long time. Thanks for taking me back through the history of OHC, with the added sci-spice. It was a real adventure.

johnfn: I like the very loud approach here, similar to what InvisibleObserver did as well. I like the almost trance like vibe coming off of this.
sci: Very good sound effects which I felt added a lot to this recording. Very funny.

Descent - This one was unique and I liked it. It makes me think of a combination of Silent Hill and Parasite Eve
Mercury Cave - I do really like the sound of this one, but I would have voted it higher if not for the drum beat. I feel that it would have sounded better with a more ambient approach, and the drums are a little bit too EDM for the overall feel of the piece.
There were quite a lot of real good entries this time around, some notable tracks that I wish I could have voted for are:
RSK's - It had a nice Eastern sound going for it that I really liked
LunacyEcho - Interesting feel and very nice first entry, but the metronome was really just distracting overall
Johnfn - I wasn't a big fan of the long guitar intro, but I really enjoyed the groove afterwards, well done

1) "Zugzug" - Honestly, this entry sticks out the most to me as being "thematic". It's dark, but it's got drive. I feel like I'm constantly trekking deeper into a cave. That really does it for me. The sounds are great too. Sure, the instruments are quite loud, but they don't get annoying for me.
2) "Cave Music/Cave Guitar" - I love the warm sounds along with the glitchiness. The guitar makes the setting seem "homier". :P Yeah this was another great take on the theme. I just can't get behind the fake out fadeout into another section (more for the transition), but the heavy amount of reverb on that second part is fantastic.
3) "cave exploring" - It was really tough deciding who should be third, but I decided in the end to go with the other piece that had a ton of drive. I love the solo riff in the beginning. I could have used more melody actually, but maybe that's just me. :P I still enjoyed this overall.
