Stumbling in you lean against the rotting door-frame, looking around the massive room. Books! Thousands of millions of books scattered across the rooms and shelves. None of them are legible, the winds of time turning them to dust at the first touch. You take a moment to imagine what it was like... way back then...
Heh I got started 30 minutes late... but I am glad I got to submit anything at all, sunday rehursal ended early this time *fhew*. Hope you enjoy!

I just recently got around to ripping some drum samples. They're pretty awesome.
Done entirely in FL Studio.

So apparently today is when daylight savings takes place in the U.S. Came into this with 8 minutes to the deadline.
This is mixed poorly.. doesn't do much.. but I managed to create a uniquish sound I think..
whatever...

Whelp, not really good at making soundtracky stuff for compos so sort of flunked it. Ableton Live makes it harder to do compositiony stuff quickly, probably going to upgrade to 9 soon enough.

Just reversed and rough spliced this together in sound forge. Better than any of the crap ideas I came up with tonight.

This is one of those times when I try to write lyrics and fail.
Lyrics:
I was born in a lonely hexagon
destined to be a traveler
I was born out of boredom,
in the middle of a war I did not start
A single purpose in all my life
To reach the fabled center
And prove my existence at last
before my time is up
Centuries may pass until my goal
is finally fulfilled
But I won't be myself no more
I may be my child, my grandson
No one expects to discover anything
yet we all carry on, and on, and on
Infinite wisdom
Infinite knowledge
Infinite bookshelves
Library of Babel
Infinite hexagons
Infinite corridors
Infinite languages
Library of Babel
