- Love the combination of orchestral and electronic elements! I do think the pictures called for something cinematic and you nailed it.
- I do wish the orchestral intro was as loud as the ending, but otherwise good stuff!
- Love those odd time signatures!

Pretty funny that all my selections used the word dragon (in one form or another.) Let's hear it for themes!

Last minute voting because i forgot lol. Hopefully i can get this in. Sorry if it's rushed.
@Souperion - Not every track i do is fast or hard bro lol.
@Misael.K - lol i've become a meme at this point.
@animatrix - Kind of does when you listen back.
@Misael.K - Ok this one is a interesting genre, because i was trying more of a electro sound. Laser beats and things. But DnB is understandable.
@Everyone - Honestly i don't consider this my best, even if it does have a nice groove.
@Misael.K - Lol.
@Souperion - I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing haha.
@Misael.K - Can't be a party without acid eh?
@NickC - Glad you do lol.
@Misael.K - Except were not catching monkey's lol, and this is a little too dark for him no?
@Lenticils - Mostly fills really.
@Suzums - All my tracks get compared to some PS1 games lol. It seems there is a correlation.
@Souperion - Deep dive into the unknown
@Misael.K - I don't exactly have a lot of time dude haha.
@kboldskeep - It is a rather heavy entrant i will say.
@Everyone - Thanks for the kind words!
Now then
TheVideoGamer - So this track started out with a simple 1 bar sequence, with me testing out all the chord functionalities on my synths, mainly Massive, but others too. I wanted to create something dark and aggressive. If theme wasn't so "cinematic" looking, i could have tried more ambient music, but it just kept screaming for orchestral music. So unfortunately i had to work around that. Tried to switch things up a bit with an electro beat, with laser sounds, than a standard DNB break. Also tried to go through different sections, each with a similar idea, but different chords and melodies. I don't love this one personally, unlike others, mainly because the sections are not unified, the beat might be too heavy, and i had so many DAW crashed to count, must have been at least 5. Oh well, hope you got something out of it.
Lyra_183 - Ok the piano line took me a while to process. I kept thing if it's a loop or a original melody, only because it's soo well synced, no clipping. You seem to have a fascination with the word Go lol. Heard it in a few tracks of yours. Very simplistic, maybe a bit too much on the looping, but i like it. Good job!
cotmm68030 - I've become adjusted to your style now. I've heard plenty of tracks with techniques familiar to you. Usually in the form of deep moody ambience, sound effects and a long drawn out breakbeat blended in the background. (While still remaining forward in the mix. So basically a mix of both.) Your sweet spot also falls around 4:30. I'm not saying this in a bad way, i love the sounds, it's super nicely done. I'm saying this as kind of a pattern to your production technique. All in all just awesome work!
Animatrix1490 - Great melody ideas, really nice to go the orchestral direction. The strings personally were a bit static. Not much dynamic changes, and way too aggressive on the attack, however when the drums come in, things change, and really make this more positive than needs be. Grooves were super tight. Ending was abrupt to me. Got into it, the moment it ends. The melodies were super great and the drums sound nice, so all is not lost. Good job though!
Gario - When i heard yours i thought something had happened to my headphones, because it literally cuts off, whenever another note is playing. It's as if your DAW can only handle so much instance of the plugin. The idea was super nice, the bass is amazing, but the jarring cuts...just put me off, i'm sorry. It's such a nice piece too. Good job though!
Souperion - Sick rock orchestra vibes from you. Another user i can identify your signature style. I especially dig the melodies in this one, super lovely and works so well with the drums. The choir is also a great touch. Honestly as much as i want to critique it, there's nothing bad here, it's just soo nicely made. Well done!
Barley - Can i be really honest here. When a theme really is up your alley, you make some great music, with some seriously good melodies, and i love it because of it. However though, and i'm sorry for saying this but i'm not a fan of your guitar tone. It's very clustered, and makes the melodies very hard to decipher. Also the vocals in this one, seem to be in the back. Drums were great, honestly i just feel there is potential. Maybe i'm a bit too critical here, but i do feel this has the opportunity for expansion. Sorry dude, good job though!
DarkShadow - Can we name a genre after you? That would be fun lol. Still good work from you as always, even if some of them aren't my cup of tea. Good job here!
Koekepan - Ok i'm really conflicted on this. I want to be as objective as i can here (When i listen), but the more i do, the harder i enjoy it. I just really can't get into the idea of 4 minutes of looping percussion (Very soft and light percussion as well). The occasional vocal burst, was something unexpected (Scared me on first listen to be honest lol, it just comes out of the blue) props to that, but it's a bit too extreme in minimalism for me. Sorry. Good job though!
Suzumebachi - Wow not expecting the 16 bit route, this is awesome. Did you make the FM sounds yourself? Because that's some talent right there if you did. The sounds are so good, and the melodies are just...you know how much i'm in love with your melody writing. Awesome work!
Misael.K - This is an odd one for me. The ambience is beautiful. It's just incredible masterful melody writing. Very relaxing and chill. However the drums are very hot. In your face, and quite intense, for something that should be more of a relaxing experience. I don't hate it, i do like the idea of drums in this, i just feel it's taking too much room. As much as i say that's a negative i can't ignore the incredible melody writing and ambience in the background. Well done!
Lenticels - Very cinematic at the start, and then very InvisibleObserver in the drum and synth work. You could easily mistake it for one of his compositions. Super nicely done, but way too short. Ends the minute it has begun. Good job though!
Wassup Thunder - I wasn't surprised to find an orchestral composition in a very cinematic theme. However i was surprised to find chanting, that's very rare coming from you. And it's really good chanting as well, you picked up an incredible VST for this. The choir/chanting just makes it for me, soo good. All in all, nothing bad here, well done!
Ethansight - I was not expecting this direction, ooh boy i'm so into it. The bass is juicy, and the organ is very funky. I was not expecting a 3/4 shuffle for this track, but it's a great unique element to the track. The pad chords are soo good, and the funky solo. The pad just really improves this track for me, soo good. Well done!
DDRKirby(ISQ) - WOAH YOU HIRED A GREAT RAPPER. Man he rapped all that? OMG. The chords are...just the best i've heard, so warm and vintage, but works so well. Love the combination of Isaac Hayes and The Winstons, you think they wouldn't work, because they come in two different areas, but they do. I just can't get over how incredible the rapping is. Best track you've made? Possibly. Just...excellent work man!
NickC - The start of an epic rave, that alas is cut short after 45 seconds. Very incomplete for me, sorry (And quite intense). Good job though!
kboldskeep - Another sharp composition. Definately seems like your still learning, i hope you do well. Good job!
christopian - Welcome new guy. In fact 2 new guys, i don't think i gave Lenticels a proper welcome. I love the chords here, you've already showcased to me, your very fine producing skills. The chords are amazing, the synths remind me of Vangelis, and the violin is an amazing touch. Needs more percussion personally, but the melodies were too good to ignore. Well done!
Dex - Orchestral rock from Dex, done awesome as usual. I absolutely love how you really added a lot of pauses, to really accent the groove. It's just too consistent, there is space for depth. Brass might be a bit too loud for me, but the positives outweigh the negatives. Well done!
JH Sounds - So far most of the entrants have been very dark, moody, cinematic and quite aggressive, then you suddenly come in with a cute almost rainbow like entrant. It's kinda of a funny transition. The way you speak, especially in the intro, sounds like it's some Pokmon RPG. Light hearted and fun. I actually dig this a lot, the lyrics is kind of relatable too, especially to those who game. It's a very well produced beat as well. All in all, well done!
InvisibleObserver - I dig the atmospheric parts, kind of fitting to the theme. Also like the soft cinematic drums to compliment it, kind of like minimal orchestra vibes. The electronica part for me, (The DnB thing) is not for me. It's very sudden, no real transition or warning. Also this part doesn't last right long, because it suddenly cuts out. I assume there's more, but it suddenly ends, so i don't get a chance to get into it as much as others might. Sorry. Good job though!
Arcana - Is it bad that i can recognise a Arcana chord progression? You seem to like to use a lot of cluster chords (Heavy dissonance, even if it's in a major or minor key). The strings were great, but i feel they need a bit of reverb. The whole thing feels like a potential for expansion. I love the idea as a whole, it's great. The chanting was also very good too, i don't think that's your voice, that might be a VST. Good job though anyways!
Top 3 - DDRKirby(ISQ), Suzumebachi, cotmm68030.
