As ambient as it gets. I'm cold

forgot to grab my keyboard and headphones. Laptop speakers don't work so well over the sound of dogs and house noise. I have no clue what this actually sounds like.

Its been days of travel, you're cold and hungry, but the lights are shining through the snow up ahead!

Our land has been ours for generations. A thousand years ago, our ancestors settled here looking for a better life, and in this sacred space, they found it. We honor them by exploring other lands while being respectful of nature and others.

Did this ahead of time since I wasn't sure if I'd be able to make OHC tonight. You can still vote if you'd like since I made it in an hour (https://youtu.be/KvxiY55UmtI). Cut it a little close on the time to finish up and render, though I guess people tend not to vote for my off-theme commission works anyways.

The aim was to make something with a relatively upbeat tempo and a 4-on-the-floor beat since that's a song type I hadn't done yet. Used a lot of arps for a more trance-like feel. The section starting at 1:16 was thrown in last-minute and is a little weak as is...probably needs some reworking for the final product.

"After much sailing and rowing, you've finally arrived to your destination. Sure it may be frosty, but the views are breath-taking, and the air somehow seems peaceful. You keep a hunt out for some lodgings to keep yourself alive".

I can only describe this as a kind of Minimal Techno/Cold Ambience sort of thing. The images are very wintry, but not very uplifting than i first thought. It's more so, very cold and chilly, and i kind of wanted to reflect that.

The music is very simple, with the core foundation being a kick, a looped 1 bar bassline, and a plucked 2 note arp. The rest weaves in and out, like waves of cold ambience. It's very much an ethereal piece, fitting for winter. Kind of mystical in parts. Really like this one, the minimalism does it justice. Hope you like it too!

Experimental tonight. Thought I'd try to do something like Two Steps From Hell's Lost in Los Vegas (Miracles album.) It uh... yeah.
