Space Terky

The giant gobble wasn't bad at all, and the sense of space was well built with pads and arps.
NickC's piece was a little less space-y, but very solid nonetheless, with good musical coherence.

johnfn: nice grooves! good tunes!
Koekepan: I felt a lot of cyberpunk in this. Needed more turkeys. Good entry, still.

1) "Space Terky" - NickC brings the weirdness, which I think is perfect for this theme. Intriguing sounds and voices; it's hard to know what to expect as the piece progresses.
2) "Where No Turkey Has Gone Before" - I like this one; it brings the feelings of outerspace and the comforts of a Thanksgiving home gathering very well. Your chord progressions warm my heart...lol... though I felt like it could have used some more buildup, especially towards the end. Still, pretty overall!
3) "One giant gobble for turkeykind" - This piece made me feel emotional, so you get my vote. The overall instruments give off a "space" sort of atmosphere. I dunno; I can imagine turkeys running through the galaxy to this music and it would be a gorgeous sight? :P

I really enjoyed the space sounds in Koekepan's entry, and johnfn's "turkey" is groovy, if a bit static sounding. Arcana, I really like the syncopated chords at the end of your piece. If only they were as crisp at the beginning as they were at the ending...I dunno, to me they seemed kind of delayed at some points.
But anyways, I will see you all in OHC next week!
