Of all the frantic percussionchoppers, cotmm68030 had the deepest soundscape. Coloradoweeks won the contest of the vocals, and Misael.K conveyed that hitting-the-city feeling best.

@Misael.K - Jungle does not pull any punches when it comes to it's bassline ;)

@Coloradoweeks - Your ears will thank you lol

@CotMM - It's not often you get to hear jungle from me. (Maybe DnB sure, but i kind of consider them 2 separate genres)

@Misael.K - A lot of my DnB/Jungle tracks are compared to Ape Escape lol. Is that what gets classed as Jungle these days?

@Suzums - Amen breaks are like the god of jungle lol.

@CotMM - A lot of people love comparing me to Soichi Terada haha.

@Coloradoweeks - Forgot that there was a sonic reference too. All that's missing is maybe comparisons to Wipeout.

@CotMM - SANICCCC!

@JH Sounds - Trust me the subs do not lie.

@Suzums - I love it when people break apart my harmonies i've used for my tracks :)

@JH Sounds - I'm sure theres another reference i've seem to missed, that's not mentioned on here lol.

@CotMM - I believe it's 5 break layers there. A Hot Pants break, an amen, a Worm break, and a Percussive break. 3 are playing at the same time, while the rest are essentially alternate layers that come in and out.

@Misael.K - Or you could say variations of the same level lol.

@CotMM - Yeah i see what you mean, sometimes breaks can end up taking up the whole space. Glad you liked it!

@Suzums - I thought the whole piece would have TVG chords, not just one section ;)

@CotMM - So what shall the YouTube video be of our beats to do Tai Chi to? And anime girl driving or something? XD

@Misael.K - I'm not sure i said mostly ambient in there lol. Unless "Calming Atmospheric Elements" ends up qualifying?

@CotMM - You forgot the "Mainly Gabber" edition lol.

@Everyone - Thanks for the kind words!

Now then...

TheVideoGamer - Everyone has essentially figured out it's jungle. They've also managed to equate me to Soichi Terada again lol. I guess Jungle=Ape Escape huh? No but in all seriousness the track is pretty much everything you'd except in Jungle, including the thick breaks, super deep subs, and sample chopping, but in this case with a lot of ambient parts (Come on, surely very chill stuff means ambient right? Not everything with drums gets disqualified from the ambient label), which really makes it smooth. The main sounds come from the rich lush pads, and smooth reverbed EP chords, that span throughout, mostly sticking to G Sharp/A Flat Minor Pentatonic. Nothing really changes, as the goal is to keep it moody, whilst still keeping it busy, in line with the image. Pretty happy with this one, glad you liked it!

Lyra_183 - Time to enlighten me with some Twenty One Pilots, a band i'm not completely familiar with, but know some songs. Never heard of this one, but you sing really well, great acapella. Keep at it! Good job!

cotmm68030 - That is one dynamic waveform. The reverbed pads, that sound like samples manipulated sound great. The drums and synths that come in, do make it unexpected, especially since it's a sudden dynamic shift, however it does sound super nice, very industrial, very Trent Reznor. I could do with some more percussion, that predominately a kick. Yeah we have some 909 hats in the second half, but that's about it. I mean it's only 3 minutes, so you probably was trying to cram as much stuff as possible for the time, and the ambience is really good, very dark and moody. Bassline is unfortunately way into the mix, and i don't know if that's intentional. Point being, since i'm rambling, there's potential in this. Good job though!

Tomapella - Last appearance 2015, so you've been absent for quite some time. I'm unfamiliar with your work, but this track is really nice. It's got an extremely expressive solo lead, and a lovely set of piano harmonies, that really make it dark and city like. The lead itself is maybe a little on the piercing side, however the chord changes were really something, and the piano sounds crisp. Sure it could do with a bit of polish, however i liked it a lot, enough for me to add it to the awesome category. Well done!

DarkShadow - The kick drum is super compressed, both in a good way and a bad way. The sidechain is strong in this too. Not my favourite personally, can get a bit loud, but it was a ton of fun. Good job!

Souperion - Really liking your eastern instrumentation and string combo. It's like it fits the city vibe, but with a more exotic flavour. Interesting how it speeds up too, goes completely into 80's synth rock, which took me by surprise. Definately a fan of that idea. Super into the instrument switch too, goes from orchestral to rock in seconds. Choir is nice also. Honestly i re-listened to this a few times, and thought about it, and nothing really sticks out as needing improvement, so well done!

DDRKirby(ISQ) - Thick delay on the piano sounds, very empty and cold, but yet has that busy-ness fitting for that City Feel. Digging the DnB parts, totally imagine how this would fit for a image of this magnitude. Kind of similar to how i've done mine, but yours has a chord progression and melody, where-as mine is more free flowing. The different sections and switchups were also lovely, the arrangement is just pretty awesome. Nothing else to say, awesome work!

animatrix1490 - Cool 5ths here. Great hip-hoppish beat. Feels like a perfect start to something, that could really work. Missing a bassline, that could add some syncopated groove, and maybe a melody of some sorts. Chord changes were pretty magical i will say. It has a lot of potential here, good job!

Dex - Ooh these are some cool chords from Dex. Major, but yet has a bit of a 7th flair to them. Very nice riff's, very metal. The chords kind of win me over, because it's just soo cool, the riff's are lovely. Mix is a little over the threshold, but i can't tell if that's intentional or not. I have to understand Metal is loud by default, so i don't want to judge it based off purely that. Really the melodies is what won me over, it was super enjoyable. Enough for me to put you in the 3rd spot. Awesome work!

Barley - Synth Barley? That's a complete first for me. I mean you've done synth stuff before, but mixed in with guitars. This is more or less pure synth (Apart from the ending where it transitions to predominately guitar), and i actually kind of like it. The second half is a bit muddy personally, i would love you exploring more of the intro parts, because that's what my ears was interested into the most. The second half was also great, but could do with a lil' work. Nice ideas though, good job!

Koekepan - All live huh? This should be interesting. Really liking the pads in this, very deep and moody. Kind of fits the city theme quite well. The sound effects are also really cool. It sounds like a mix of bird noises and car screeches. I also love how the melody remains in the same key, but the chords don't. I mean the melody changes, but ever so slightly. I don't know if the sound effects put me off more, or maybe it's the amount used, but sometimes it can distract me from the music, and even cause a little dissonance in areas. But i do get the Vangelis vibes, in this one. Thought about this one, and the sound effects weren't for me. Good job though!

Starla - Well this is a neat 35 seconds lol. Shame, because the idea is pretty awesome. Amazing chords, amazing vocals (Even if the vocals are in the back). I just need more to work with, i'm sorry lol. Good job though!

InvisibleObserver - Some sick sound design in this one. I can't tell if your manipulating pitches or trying to come up with a melody, because it's very weird., almost detuned and dissonant. The direction is also odd too, kind of experimental, but has that dubstep like drum beats. The reverb ending was nice though. It's really just...confusing for me personally, i don't get the direction. Still though, good job!

Coloradoweeks - Intense 80's synth work here. Really sick chords, super good. Vocals are sadly getting pushed down, the chords are really front and centre. Idea is amazing though, the chords are really something. I think if you toned down the synth pad's volume, it would be more fitting for the awesome category. Still though, good job!

Misael.K - Some Misael.K type chords. Great fill into the main drum groove, the melody is really awesome in this. Totally reminds me of Macintosh Plus lol, except it's all live synth and drums. Chords are just...awesome really. I love it when you really take something simple and make it super complex. Melody is really fire, pretty awesome melody. Whole thing is a ton of fun, just...incredible work!

DJohn - Oh god, i can't figure out what this song reminds me off. It's so familiar, the rhythm and chord movement. It's not A Star is Born, but honestly i feel like it fits in that movie. Oh wait, i just checked the lyrics, and i'm so dumb haha. It's literally Shallow from A Star is Born. Like i can't believe i missed it, and i call myself somewhat musical lol. The vocals are beautiful, and the cover is nice, but alas it's a little distorted overall. Close to clipping (Specifically when it reaches peak dynamics). Also the piano i feel could do with a little reverb. I wanted to give you this, but the distortion was a little too much for me personally. Great cover though, good job!

Eva - Funky beats. Takes a while to get into some guitar playing, but when it does man these are some lovely chords! Really liking the strumming too! The vocals are sparsely used, and when they do appear, they're a little on the quiet side. Also would love a bassline on this personally, it's lacking a lot of low end in that department. Chords however were amazing, i would love to hear more of these types of progressions. Good job though!

JH Sounds - Liking that major chord at the end. You always know how to surprise me with some intricate chord changes. Great singing and lyric writing, this is a ton of fun. Loving the different sections, well done!

Ethansight - Juicy arps, tasty delay. Loving the minor 7th action going on in the pads, really builds up to a very tasty beat. Bassline is also very juicy too. Kickdrum is not as sidechained as normally as i've heard from you, maybe you ran out of time for the mixing. Melody ideas are pretty awesome, but the drums are a little on the background side. Almost like a last minute addition. Classic Ethansight ending, where you end on a major instead of a minor. The ol' Picardy 3rd. I mean there is a fair bit of polish to be had (Especially on the drums), however the awesome melodies prevented this from being a good job. Well done!

Arcana - People need to start doing more EDM covers, it's more of a rare topic lol. I don't know Kaskade well enough, with exception to certain songs, so this is a blind reaction. Big fan of the cool suspensions on the chords, and the delay on your vocals are really good. Drums are a little flat and lifeless personally, i know you've written that your not super proud of this, and personally i disagree that it's bad, because it's actually really good. It just needs polish and finesse to make it there. It's like 95 percent perfect. Love your take though, good job!

Top 3 - Misael.K, DDRKirby(ISQ), Dex.

Ethansight is also a contender for the list, even if they're things that could do with a little polish.

Awesome - Tomapella, Souperion, DDRKirby(ISQ), Dex, Misael.K, JH Sounds, Ethansight.
