I know this isn't my longest work or anything, but I really feel good about this one. OHC200, YES!

OHC has been amazing to me, so awesome in so many ways, and brought my mixing and production to levels that I couldn't even imagine back in my earlier years. Thank you everyone. Happy 200th, OHC, and let's go for another 100!

The theme had me thinking of some real good guy who just happens to look like the Devil and so everyone hates him, that's where the title came from.

Hello everyone!
So you may or may not know me. I started participating in OHC in round 102, after much pestering and bugging from my friend DDRKirby(ISQ), I finally gave it a try. I was pretty intimidated during my first listening party, sitting through all those long and great entries that everyone else submitted, when all I had was derping around with 3xosc bass and some simple drums. Then, my second OHC and listening party was OHC 105. And one of the awesome entries that weekk was CJthemusicdude's, Journey to the center of...something. And that made me realize just how awesome our community is. All the humor. All the great compositions. The strange compositions as well. And the awesome vocal entries.

So thanks. For letting me and others know about this compo. For the awesome music. For giving good feedback. For participating. For anything and everything having to do with One Hour Composition.

I like to play with themes like this. Instead of it being a straight reversal of perspective, the villain isn't so much a hero as a simple scientist who made a mistake. The "heroes" are the rioting public.

This was a nice lyrical exercise. Sorry about the quiet vocals, it's 2AM as the compo starts and I have sleepy parents.

The idea I had was that with enough pressure from outside sources, even the noblest of heroes will begin to crack and question themselves... Were they really the beacon of light they thought they were? Are the cries of the townsfolk against you justified? How much blood did you shed in your quest for justice, and how many did you actually save?
