All things go in cycles
Everything returns to where it once came
The wheel of time always continues to spin
within each and every thing
-----
Tried to focus on lots of cyclic arpeggios and mirrored melody lines.
Used a bunch of Valhalla Supermassive also!
(sorry this one's kinda mean)
well you're not really my type
but at least you've got a car
and though i can't stay out all night
i'm sure we can get pretty far
i'm tired of speculating
what it's like really dating
you seem to care so i guess
i should, too
so you take me to a spot
off of 4 and 17
where the shelves are stocked with... booster packs?
and the crowd looks kinda mean
i think it's kinda tragic
you dragged me to modern Magic
but you seem to care so
i guess i should, too
we're going nowhere fast
in your four-door sedan
still reeks of your dad's
marlboro reds
you said you want romance
to please give you a chance
but i think
this thing needs to end
In your 4WD custom-made vehicle, you drive until the normal world is no more, and the rust becomes everything. But you're not afraid of hell.
This was going to be a doors and wheels song, but since the electric guitar wasn't working, it's just a doors song.
Happy 700th compo, everyone!
let's get you rolling
got all them wheels
i can't believe what you think
a doorway could lead you to me
looking around you
and all that i see is
wheels, wheels, wheels
you know its got to be wheels
VERSE
One-two, is that a wheel for you?
Three-four, the hinges on the door
Five-six, are~ windows a trick?
Seven, eight, this was a mistake.
Unclear why you even care
Not sure why you all must stare
These things, they only cause division
No path to win, no satisfaction
PRE-CHORUS
Of all the things
That we fight about
This was that thing
Where answers burn out.
CHORUS
What now
Is that an open door?
What now
Spinning wheels some more
What now
Is it anticipation?
The things you list
Add to your frustration
VERSE
One-two, a gears a wheel you say?
Three-four, the hatches on the floor
Five-six, the numbers you predict
Arent even close, what a mistake.
CHORUS
What now
Is that an open door?
What now
Spinning wheels some more
What now
Is it anticipation?
The things you list
Add to your frustration
What now
Is that an open door?
What now
Spinning wheels some more
What now
Is it anticipation?
he things you list
Give in to your elation
It's wheels
Seven hundred, gone right past me
As the wheels of time are spun
No one quite knows where it all goes
Battles lost and battles won
A rustling jam is all I'm left with
As I roll on down this long road
Never certain where I'll go
Pick things up as I go along now
Breaking even, getting old
A rustling jam is all I'm left with
making due with constant changes
faces scatter like the leaves
distant winter coming closer
get my mind up off that freeze
Look out for my other alias, they are the key into the challenges. This is merely the intro, explaining things. If you get at least one challenge right, you win the prize!
Match the entry to the user. Shouldn't be hard right? Reminder, you only need one win, to claim the prize :D
I got this idea from the song welcome to the internet
for every door that has been slammed shut
i will still try and find a way
for every passaged closed and blocked
i will push on every day
and in the darkness behind these walls
i will tear open a new way
and in the prison of my mind
i will push on every day
My initial opinion is that there are more wheels than doors, but since there's no practical way to test this, nor reason, here's a little symph-rock thing with a surprising amount of restraint. Wanted to capture wheels with the arpeggios and fast bass, then doors with slower long notes.

Had a long explanation here, but chose to edit file. GOTTA GO FAST!!~
Structured into two halves which play at different times; the melody that 'rotates' around are wheels, and the section with big chords are doors. On top of that, it sounds dramatic like a battle.
I've hidden a famous melody inside an original composition. How well do you know it? As a reminder, you only need to win one of these challenges to claim your prize!
I have made an original composition. Your task is to identify the BPM of the piece, as closest as you can. The person who is the closest is the winner. Thanks to everyone for this incredible experience, probably the most fun i've had in ages. I always look forward to compo, it's a blast. Shout out to everyone! Answers will be submitted tomorrow!!
Wheel Door.
