I got a little too ambitious with this one and didn't get what I wanted done. Timing on the vocals is a little scuffed.

I wanted to capture the feeling of being isolated, in a rather expansive but breath-taking view. I wanted it to be very calming, but also very cold and kind of empty. I took some soft soothing pads, with contrast to the slightly techno like beats, and grooves. It's a sort of atmospheric blend, with the beats and melodies. A little simple, but i wanted to left the atmosphere do the talking, not the music. Hope you enjoy!

In deep space, humankind might not be alone after all. Throughout the centuries that we have explored the galaxies (both near and far), we have found life many, many times. However, this is the first time we know we'll make contact with an intelligent, sentient species. They are still young and haven't left their planet, so they may be frightened by us when we make contact. But together we will march on towards a bright, glorious universe.

Cramped for time on this one, a little escalating thrill of discovery or something like that.

Been playing lotsa Mass Effect and had spacey synth orchestras on my mind. Then stumbled upon some chords that reminded me of Halo, and ran outta time to finish an idea I had, but got enough to at least end somewhat satisfyingly. Really got into some cello staccato chords.
