😂 damn this one was a depressing one to comeback to. Haven't done this in a long time--glad to be back, but sad he's on his back

I don't remember the lyrics, I made them up on the fly. I kind of don't have a good idea of what I did, I swapped out the instrument samples at the last minute because they were clicking, which is probably why there are render errors since I didn't listen to them before I exported.

Went for a dreamy, slightly disorienting feel, with surprising chords and key changes. Did I succeed?

For guitars I but a metric ton of effects on the synth Toxic Biohazard and the drums are just Battery with lots of reverb and distortion. Lyrics:

It's basically a Jazzy type piece but in the eyes of Electronica, because it's what i can do with the tools i have. Most of the piece is 2 chord progressions, each with some seasonings thrown in for some spice, and some varied melodies each fitting to the requisite progression. Top in a solo in the middle, and some drum craziness it's quite dynamic, for something probably quite simple. In the end, the guy is too tired to continue, and so boom, he's off to sleep. It's not technical, but i had fun making this nonetheless. Enjoy!
