The round being 777, I wanted to have an element of "luck" to the theme. We've done luck as clovers before, and loud slot machines are limiting in inspiration. In my research, the Tanuki kept showing up. While they are a real breed of dog, they're often depicted in a mysterious, supernatural context and are considered extraordinarily lucky if all white. They're also considered tricksters - an element of mischievousness to their luck. Quickly review this article but give yourself time to write your song, and best of luck! 🍀

im not even going to lie I used a lyric generator
"Tanuki's are known to be the symbol of luck. That means there's hope for me that i could potentially blag a few votes this week."
Conflicting themes this week, so i went with luck. The whole thing is in 7, from the chords to the arps, to the drums. I also tried to go for even more 7 by using a 707 kit, but it...didn't work. Not the style i suppose. The track is quite a simple one, but it's mostly based on these super thick 9th chords in descending motion, both in arps and chords. The rest builds from that, including a melody, some kind of choir sound, various pad sounds among others. It's one of those tracks, that adds something new to the never-ending array of looped chords. This is either very pretty, or very boring, so take it as you will.
