I make a glorious return! And to usher in this new era of me being a person who exists, I present you with... this completely generic, unmemorable, and poorly constructed piece of something that vaguely resembles music. Eh. I'll get back in the swing of things eventually.

I wanted to do something clever and new to celebrate OHC300 but of course I couldn't, and I'll probably end up doing something great for OHC371 or something which nobody will care about because it's not a special number :(
But I think there are some nice bits here.

Had trouble tonight so 30 minutes in I found this guitar riff I had made a while back in my junk folder. Did everything else in the last 30 minutes so I guess that's legal. Wish I had more time to polish.

You're just minding your own business one day, coming home from a long day's work at the breadsmith's place (they refuse to call themselves bakers because then the blacksmith will make fun of them) when you see a package on the step to your dodecagonal hut. There's no return address, but it says in big poorly-drawn letters REDY 4 ADVENCHUR?

At this point, any escape from your humdrum life would be welcome, so you open it up to find a map. That is also poorly drawn. So you jump in your spaceship and leave your tetrahedron-shaped planet and head off for "advenchur" as the package said.

I'm scared of many things in the world. Making a fool of myself. Being new and unfamiliar to things.

Compo was scary when I started. I do it every week now and it's kind of a habit... but at the same time, I still am kind of scared of it and I have to suck it up and see how much I can improve. Every. Single. Week.

An old adventure in new clothes.

The call to adventure is the beginning of a clean break you just barely escaped from, necessarily. This theme celebrates the OHC's 300th birthday and echoes the triumph of a mysterious new venture.
