I think I was just floating lazily in the air. Not a care in the world. Nothing was out of reach.

This little precious chest has been standing next to your sleeping place for as long as you can remember, catching all the dreams you ever had over the years. Now it's time to embark into this world of dreams that unveils before you as you open it and relive all the magical moments you had while sleeping.

Sorry, but this theme made me think of the movie inception and all other action-psych-dramas involving dreams. That, and after doing a super ambient track last week, I didn't want to do another one. At least I didn't waste 45 minutes playing around with paulstretch like last week.......Though, I still didn't have enough time to do any sort of mix, dynamics, etc. Oh well. Hopefully you'll still be able to see what I was trying to do.

I tried to write a motif that captures the most peaceful, beautiful dream you could ever have, but when you wake up, you're only left with fragmented pieces of this perfect scene. As you drift back into reality and out of the dreamworld, your mind races to try and grab hold of the pieces before they float away into nothingness. Eventually, the memory is lost and you have no choice but to let go, and cherish the few pieces that remain.

I wanted to add some flute/cello parts to this but was too inefficient with my time, so it's just a solo piece. Sorry :(

So I don't tend to have many dreams, and when I do they suck ass.

So I tried to convey that in a remix.

A couple of evil mischievous spirit twins known as the dream thieves come to steal your dreams away. Though they are twins, one of them is much larger with a deeper voice than the other and they often argue when the plan doesn't go quite as planned, but more often than not, they get away with it.

You just happen to wake up when they've already stolen most of your dreams for the night, but all you see is a hazy cloud as your eyes focus, not looking much different than a normal waking haze in the wee hours of the morning.

Close your eyes, feel your body loosen and relax as you draw closer to the dream state, the gateway to the outer dimension.

I had this dream and there were these weird elves doing repetitive things. Then before I knew it, it was all over.

I was having such a nice dream and now I have to wake my ass up.... -_-

This is bassed on a dream I had.

I went with my girlfriend to a wedding of people I didn't know. And for some reason the groom played bass.

And he challenged me to a bass duel.

I won. ;)

This sucks I couldn't think of anything good, I probably should have just done metal.

I was/am tired as heck, and I had no real ideas. Half the time, I had no idea what I was doing, and so this is what came out. I called it 'class'.
