at first I tried breathing new life into an old song/idea of mine (a cover of the krakken battle music from Earthbound)
then I was like "yeah this isn't working for me"

so I tried working in a new DAW instead.

with guitars (also new to me)

sadly the song itself is not as fresh as this description.

I did some harmonization experimenting today. I think I like the result.

When you open a brand new Logic song, the default instrument is an electric piano. That counts as a new beginning, right?

Started in major because I don't do that often...

I tried to start again as many times as possible, but I kinda suck so I only managed to start again once. Oh well... I'm not good at doing this quickly.

The hero is make journey to beginning soul power levels, can him defeat the evils before they made life spark all gone for eternities?

This time, I tried without chiptune melodies.

The Holiday Season's over... now time for something different.

So I think about that party, me being awesome as usual. Just saying whatever crossed my mind.

this is my first OHC with a MIDI keyboard! hooray! really lets me explore a lot of melodic space... not so much time to choose instruments though :p

it's gonna take a while to get used to using it during OHC.
