I haven’t mixed much in the past 2-3 years (because I moved abroad) so my ears are definitely rusty. I only attempted the first theme, but at least I finished on time.

I made a short but monster groove with the theme. I don't have all my gear otherwise I would have recorded guitars in place of the heavy synth. Also don't have my monitors so the bass might be wonky haha

I was able to do this in a few hours, unfortunately I have some more ideas but I cannot finish it before the deadline.

I originally started with the bass and the pad from UFO and it morphed into the intro. After the guitars the UFO bass is in full swing. The generic chorus was an unfinished idea I did not get back to (and needed to be rerecorded). After the chorus, the transition was plucked from the Ristar source. Then back to the UFO bass and the end.

That's an annoying title lol This source led me to do a short and simple feel-good rock type thing.

Took that arpeggio from the Sonic source and developed around that. The sound clip in the middle is UFC's Chael Sonnen talking about Anderson Silva. Some lolz for the battle music

The background vocals are actually the title of this round's PRC:

btw, I am so terribly bad at singing, I was about 5 notes flat on that last lyric. Thanks to Melodyne no one will ever know muahaha

I got the idea to do a chiptune from the thread, but I already had started recording everything. TrollingOrSerious is definitely trolling haha but perhaps next time...

Zerothemaster and myself planned a collab for this round, unfortunately time wasn't on his side. We are going to give it another shot next round tho! Nonetheless, he did manage to send me a nice sounding file - which is what I used for the intro/outro.

Here's my bonus mix for you guys! The really reverberated guitar in the intro was 1 take, completely improved. The rest came together almost as easily, especially for only taking one day to make :p

Tried to get that groovy~jazz experience inlaid with this remix, my first non-metal remix in some time. I did reconstruct the lead to sound for more jazzy, but still hangs relatively on the key notes as the original did.

My friend did lay down some vocals for this, but I didn't have time to mix them before the deadline.. Nonetheless, the instrumental version isn't half bad :p

This one was so easy to remix, I had fun just like everyone else. The sound clips are from the movie "Event Horizon", I thought they brought a chilling vibe.

Never played the game, but a cool source. I ran with that first little motif from the source and kinda took it from there. Wanted a really bad ass vibe, but also going in and out of some catchy bits to give it some contrast. I also don't normally do much soloing stuff, but at the end I just went for it. Little wankage if I may. Improved about 3 or 4 takes and spliced them together and viola! that was it, but turned out cool I think lol

This was a awesome source to make some really great soundscapes. Tried to go huge with the strings, but also keep some melodic build ups in other areas. One of the funnest PRC's for me to date!

So, I took a different approach to this remix heh. It's in the style of Snoop Dogg's Gin & Juice! Some obvious melody references and quite an "animated" rap. Keep in mind I'm no rapper, really I'm a guitarist who likes metal (That's my disclaimer btw).

I've never played this game, but I'm guessing its about some dude fighting dragons... Hope I'm not too far off on that lol

My friend actually written lyrics for this, but he wasn't able to come over in time for me to record them :/ Anyway, this was a really fun one to remix. Used a little EastWest Symphony at the end (something I should use a lot more).

The source for my remix is "The Instinct" from the SNES game Killer Instinct. I tried to give it a much more heavier atmosphere with the 7 string guitars, which brought the key down 3.5 steps. I even experimented with some vocals, tho I hate my vocals so I didn't do as much as I'd have like to with that.
