Morning Wood Kid by hoboka: Diggin' the grooves in this, good choice of beats. There was a sour note at around 0:50 :/ You really made use of most of the source. Good presents and vibes. My favorite part was at ~2:20.

Foggy Foliage by Chickenwarlord: Slowing it down really paid off for this. I really enjoyed the whole vibe of this song, a great listen the whole way through! I have nothing bad to say about this, top notch good sir - 1st place!

Welcome to the WildSide by Trism: The drums were really overpowering in the mix. I did enjoy the synth in the intro quite a bit, and my initial thought was "this is going to be epic!", but it left a lot to be desired.. Would have liked more layers and contrasting sections. I do enjoy your submissions, but this one seemed a little hurried :s

Kid in Woodland Hills by DrumJ8: +1 for doing a bonus mix! First thing I noticed is the grooveh drums. Tempo changes are a hard thing to make work, but I thought you pulled it off effectively. Nice job!

DrumJ8 - The drums are making the song. I like the part around 1:08. It needs more variation.
Chickenwarlord - I like the samples you used. Maybe you slowed it too much. It misses an ending.
Hoboka - Very good start. The part after that (before 1:17) is boring. Nice way to mix the different parts together.
Good last part, but abrupt end.
Sggod89 (+ Zerothemaster) - The song is living, there is much stuff in it in a way I like. It is noisy, but not too noisy.
Trism - Drums are too loud and dominative, but I like that bassline. The intro was good, but after a while it was destroyed by the drums.

Chickenwarlord got first for me, because his interpretation was the most compelling and fun and to listen to for me. Also, the percussion really, helped to paint the atmosphere too. So kudos for that ^^

sggod89 - production was spot on and very good quality, but the re-interpretation wasn't as good as chickenwarlord's.

Trism - well the qualative comment didn't help your cause at all - so I went in thinking that this track wouldn't be very good; luckily it wasn't as bad as you made it out to be, but I could also tell that you didn't really put your heart and soul into this one =( Less Xbox for you mister! =p

I had to listen to these a few times cuz it was pretty close for me .. and I downloaded all of them.

ssgod89 - this mix sounded the most whole to me and I really liked the arrangement

Chickenwarlord - slowing down the groove was a creative choice and I thought it was done well.

hoboka - it was pretty good, closer to the source track than the others

Trism - some good ideas, close to the source track and repetitive sections

1st - hoboka - While the loudness of the lead near the beginning is a bit offputting the track picks up nicely and becomes very groovy from there. More songs should have gongs in them!

2nd - Chickenwarlord: Nice chillout tune that doesn't stray too far from the source. The piano parts worked and the bongo drums suited the piece very well.

3rd - sggod/Zerothemaster: Zero's part complemented sggod's well, and I liked the song itself, but I could not for the life of me actually pick out any part of the source in it. It's possible that the distortion on the guitar thew me off but I just could't hear it. That's the only reason I'm giving this one 3rd place.

DrumJ8 - Very funky piece, loved the tempo changes

I think Ssgod's arrangement is probably the best and most creative with the source. Very full soundscape with a high level of energy. Sounds sort of like chase scene music interlaced with some slow motion bits to emphasize certain visual cues.
Hoboka's is takes a little bit longer for the arrangement to kicking, but it gets pretty fun around 1:48. A little bit more sonic layering/background parts to distract from the very static forefront groove beforehand would make this even better.
Trism's from :30 onwards sounds like a groove without a melody on top. Nice groundwork for a hardstyle epic, but a little too barebones.
