DrumJ8: Not a bad first attempt with electronic music. I almost never bother with making a patches from the ground up, but Im sure its a skill worth having.

Marcusg: Pretty chill track, I dig it! Snare is a bit loud in the mix, other than that it seemed pretty polished. The bass sounds great.

V__: The part when the main melody came in was sublime! The minimalistic approached worked really well with this track.

Yami: Man that beer sounds delicious! I was secretly hoping for a chaotic end where you got a little tipsy and shit went awry haha Cool and dreamy track nonetheless.

Esperado: Quite a dramatic intro! Really groovy track, it flows great. The extra work really paid off, this is a great remix.

The only real advice i have is that most of the songs could use a bit more variation in the sounds, especially the longer ones. of course that could just be me.

otherwise. drumj8, it sounds like your sounds arent blending very well. so thats probably just a mixing thing, and you might try some panning and effects to spice it up. plus it could use a bit of length

DrumJ8 - The part between seconds 27-52 is completely differrent as the other piano sections. It is a funny experiment.
Esperado - The song sounds full and complete, it has a lot in it. Nice variation with the source.
Marcusg - It is a cool idea. I like what you did, but the song can use more variation.
V___ - It takes a while before the song really starts, but the build-up is promising. I like the bell around 1:10. The part around 2:30 fits perfectly in this song and continues in a good way during the rest of the song which has a long ending.
Yami - The song is slow, but that fits very well with the source. I really liked the last part. The ending is a bit weird.

I'm glad the turnout was good this round! Thanks for submitting, everyone!

That said, here are my votes:

1. **Denial of Power by esperado**
I'm not familiar with the Resident Evil extinction theme, but I think this track is awesome. The change of sound around 1:50 keeps the mix from sounding too repetitive, and I love the piano that comes in at 2:33.

2. **Not enough power by marcusg**
The crunchy things at the very beginning sound kinda weird to me, but then when the song gets going at around 0:14 they fit better, and add an interesting texture. I enjoy your interpretation -- it has a good laid back vibe to it. I can imagine some people driving a car with dark tinted windows down a bunch of empty city streets while the buildings reflect in their sunglasses. Or something. My only other complaint is that it does tend to get a bit repetitive though.

3. **Hide and Seek Tha Sorse by V___**
Personally, I feel like the beat-y intro goes on too long. I like the instrument part added at 1:05, but I feel like the song would have benefitted from it coming in much earlier. I also like the original notes you added in around 2:04, but again, these seem loop for too long. All in all, I think you're doing some interesting things here, but the song tends to sound too looping.

Thoughts on the other tracks:

**Chasing Control by DrumJ8**
I had a lot of trouble choosing between this one and "Hide and Seek..." for the #3 spot. The piano intro is pretty cool sounding, but I think it would be cooler with more expressiveness -- the notes sound very artificial (at least to me.) The next part, with the electronic stuff, sounds pretty cool, but then the song seems to end abruptly. I think this song has a lot of potential, if the electronic part were longer and incorporated more of the original song.

**Dreaming of Power by Yami**
The slow intro is pretty cool, but I'm not nuts about the synth that comes in though.
