Chickenwarlord - This song is sweet, nice sampling and variation. It has a good length.
DrumJ8 - It sound like the song has three parts. The end is too abrupt.
Hoboka - Funny take on the source. It is variating well. I don't like the drums at some parts.
OneUp - Very long start. The song is, like you mentioned, slow. It has interesting parts, but speeding it up might worked better.
Trism - Noisy take on the source. The 'silent parts' around 1:00 are a little too long. I like the last part, which is different.

DrumJ8 - gets my first because it does a good job of melding retro and (semi) modern sounds together to give it that oldschool feel; even though it was very liberal in its interpretation, I enjoyed it the most out of the rest.

OneUp - great feel, good to listen to when you're baked =p but I found it a little too chill, given the source tune's tempo and energy, thus it threw me off quite a bit.

Chickenwarlord - I love conservative approaches - but I'd feel like a bit of a douche if I voted every conservative track first place =(. Still this is a great remix, thus it gets third place :D

Trism - I don't know what to say, other than the production is pretty good, but the synths are kinda jarring for me, 1:55 is a nice touch up, but it needed more variation over all. Good effort though :)

I generally tend to like high-energy atmospheres, just a personal taste thing ..

1) Chickenwarlord: I didn't think I would like this so much since it was "mostly a cover" but I think it still deviated from the original enough and sounded good. Pretty solid mix.

2) hoboka: I think if the "joke" vocals were taken out, it would've been fine and imo I'd see it as a legitimate track (as opposed to a "joke" track). The sax part could be improved upon but other than that the melodic and backing material sounded good to me.

3) Trism: The beginning part sounds good, the only thing is, it repeats over and over. If the remixer had more time with it this track could have easily been fleshed out into more parts that sound different from each other as opposed to basically two parts.

Honorable Mention) OneUp: Nice chill track with a swing rhythm on the hats, gives it kind of a reggae feel. I like the pad on the 'bridge' as well.

Nice work everyone, I had fun B)

WhoTrolledJazzJackRabbit? by hoboka: lol not sure I want to know what the sound clips are from. All the parts were really cohesive and fun to listen to. My favorite part was at 1:12!

Dub Jah Rabbit by OneUp: Electrodub you say? I have no idea what that means lol Very interesting pseudo reggae approach, definitely has some originality. I could hear some remnants of the source, but for me it lacked catchiness.

Jump by DrumJ8: Really nice remix. Good energy, flow, contrasting elements. The beginning was fantastic! Some of the synths were a little overpowering in the mix but despite that, great entry!

Crowform Snowstorm by Chickenwarlord: It is pretty similar to the source. I really liked the piano notes, I would have been awesome if you played more with that.

A Rabbits Foot Isn't Always Lucky, Just Ask The Rabbit by Trism: It seems your production has improved quite a bit in this piece.. New gear?? Anyways, intense techno remix there sir. Little bit of a rough transition at 1:50ish, and the end really made think of a buzzing fly haha +1 for in song imagery.

1st - Chickenwarlord
Not only is this a great song but it actually sounds like an ice level theme, specifically something that you might hear in a later Sonic game. Drums are too quiet though.

2nd - DrumJ8
Excellent pacing with this one, everything flows together really well. Drums are just right, however the levelling on the lead does seem to jump around a bit.

3rd - OneUp
While I didn't like the soundbyte in the middle the slower pace works well with this source, though it did seem to drag on a bit towards the end.

hoboka - I quite liked the tune you put together here, but the vocal bits scared the crap out of me. Seriously, that's nightmare fuel right there!

DrumJ8 definitely had the most original arrangement of the lot. Some of the drums were a bit too active for my tastes, but pretty solid (despite the non-ending).
One-Up's piece was a little bit too sparse to get first place, but the relaxed vibe kinda grew on me.
Trism's industrial synthage was pretty well balanced with some very driving drums, but the repetition of the arrangement did not hook me in as much as the others.

Hoboka - Less pingas, more Mama Luigi. I liked what you did with the melody in the first half, with the subtle changes, but I couldn't really get into the joke-mixing aspect.

1st-OneUp: I got stoned just by listening to this track. It was a very creative approach, kudos.
2nd-DrumJ8: Mixing was a bit of a mess but the ideas were good and I liked the arrangement. Sounds were a bit dry, but as I said, i liked the arrangement and your ideas.
3-Trism: A bit chaotic but I liked some of the sounds you used.
