Drum J8 - This really sounds like a boss battle song, the ending is very abrupt but I like the sampling.
Evktalo - Nice start. The song is worked out well. Title does not fit with the song.
Sggod89 - The drums are a bit too noisy, they dominate the song too much. For the rest it sounds complete and good.
TrollingOrSerious - Funny choice to use chiptunes. The last part before the end is a bit weird.

1) ssgod89 - feels like he put the most effort into it and I enjoyed it the most, so it's a win-win. Also, live guitars are always a sure chance for winning a compo...kinda wish I had them E-guitar chops lol.

2) 8BIT MAYAN - gets 2nd because despite that he is 'trolling' it's at least easy to follow and soundscape (though simple) does the job more or less.

3) Well, I guess points for trying evktalo :D But yeah it is kind of all over the place - next time don't try to be so ambitious if you're time constrained and you're sure to do much better =p

And DrumJ8 had some interesting ideas but they weren't developed much at all =(

This Is A Horrible Mess (We're In) by evktalo: It does kinda seem everywhere. Don't hold back on carving things up in the EQ and give it some sparkle. You can also try light panning, I'll pan lead synths a tad to where its almost not noticeable but the stereo imagine will sound fatter. Aside from production, I liked that you kept the same energy of the source with some creative twists. Would have liked to seen more contrast to the source, but quality remix nonetheless.

Havoc by DrumJ8: Loving the groove in this. Really liked the change up at :30. Good flow and variety, really solid and enjoyable remix! Production wise, could have went a little more crazy with the EQ and the high hat at the end was a bit loud.

I liked the rhythmic changes in Havoc, good take on the tune. It was a short sketch though, so FRAKTHEMAYANS wins as the more complete piece. It's a nice take too. I gathered TrollingOrSerious is ssgod89 as well? It's not too bad a version either.
