One Hour Compo - Round 790 (OHC790)
Outline
As things begin, they must also end. Is this a celebration of the journey, or an unwillingness to part with what must come to pass? Tonight's theme is "The End."

(i've been having some weird-ass dreams lately. hope they stop.)
it's been ages since we last spoke
how are you these days?
did you finally find your way?
i'm as old as you when you left
ain't it strange
how so much that time can change?
sometimes in my dreams
you'll come back and we forgive
every wound that we've both inflicted
every vile word we've spit
but for now i'll wrap our time together
in a pale green bow
and i'll try to forget every tender
moment as i go
and that's the end of that
no more crying, colorado
have this song as your closure
just accept it
it's all over
As the final moments approach, you feel a cold sweat run down your forehead. You're still in denial about everything, and can't hope but thinking that this can't be the end. As the fire burns and devours what little is left, perhaps despair is the only thing filling your heart. And yet you don't stop. Not until it's really over.
AI LYRICSSSS
That deep fried spicy tofu felt so nice
But it didn’t agree with the rice
Hours and a slice of cake later
It cranks the intestines with the force of a hater
That extra serving of chicken was tasty
But the peanut sauce sure feels a bit hasty
Sat in my stomach like a can of warm beer
Was just a skewer but it skewered me here
The end
The end
It all comes out in the end
Despite its role as a glorious hor d’oeuvre
It won’t be contained in this pustulant hour
The end
The end
It all comes out in the end
Whether I liked it or not the first time around
It’s leaving a message on its revival through town
I’m going to pass out on my end
I'm in the Christmas mood again, so expect my next few submissions to be both Christmas themed and round themed (As in, what's on the round page). This one is bright and epic, almost like a national celebration in the whole town, after it was saved from someone evil. But it could also work in the run-up to new year. I don't know the track was something i was feeling at the time. Think of Gabber, but done in a massive way. Super thick strings and pads, with dense choir sounds, topped off with an arp and some piano lines, it's definately super uplifting and happy. But i didn't just keep it to that, there is a rich chordal intro, and a somewhat dynamic piano and flute like ending, to keep it more melodic and less drone heavy.....because there is a few drones in this piece, not the most melodically varied, aside from the ending and intro. Enjoy!
I AM THE GOD OF HAPPY CHOIRS!
