Back to my house roots this week, in what is closely inspired by French House, but with a lot more stuff than just filtered disco samples. There is obviously the thick drums, but i also topped it with percussion and a breakbeat for some swing, a funky juicy bassline to keep the bottom part full, and i decided in the middle to switch it up with some syncopated chords that match the sample, and Diana Ross's classic singing, because why not, amongst other vocal snippets here. It's about being both funky as it is, melodic. All in all, it's effective dance stuff really, enjoy!
