Tried to go with a mysterious, but light-hearted feel for this one. Went pretty smoothly for the most part. Longest OHC entry so far for me :)

Another collaboration with my son. The theme should be obvious.

Since the theme is favorites, I thought I'd include all my favorite instruments. Plus, there's a guest appearance by my son (who "helped" me on this song) who is definitely one of my favorite people :).

Had no ideas for the source until yesterday afternoon, so major rush to get this done! I'm happy with how things turned out, and it looks like I'm just in time. Hope you guys enjoy.

Thanks for all your work running the PRC, Rexy. I honestly feel like it was a major catalyst in my development as a musician.

Well, it's been too long since I entered a PRC, so I figured it was high time to return. I liked the brooding feeling of the original tune and wanted to carry over that same type of style into my arrangement.

This is epic orchestral with some synthetics added in, with an almost industrial flavor to it (I hope :). The original lent itself well to an orchestral adaptation because of the harmonies and layers in the voices. My aim is for the listener to feel like they're actually visiting an unknown world that's not exactly friendly.

I tried 2 or 3 times to come up with something workable from this before I came up with this approach today. It's probably the "happiest" orchestral piece I've created up till now - at least the first half. Later, it kind of naturally progressed into a different theme entirely, but I won't give it away. :)

Well, I was having some problems deciding what genre to make this mix in. I experimented with three different ideas, but ended up putting them all together. Hope you enjoy.

Well, I didn't have much time to work on this, so I had to cut it off at what I had so far. And yeah, I don't really know how to make Trance music, enough said :D

Another attempt at a new genre for me, not much like anything I've done before. More electronic, less (no) saxophone/strings :). Hope you guys enjoy it.

I guess I've been in a laid-back mood lately: this is another chill-type song from me. I don't want to give too much away, so give it a listen :)

Tried for a more chillout song this time. As usual, I waited until the last minute (late last night) to record my saxophone, so the tone and articulation isn't my best. Anyway, this was a lot of fun to put together, enjoy.

This is a smooth/lounge-type jazz take on the original. Worked on the Rhodes, drums and bass real quick over the past couple days and recorded the saxophone in a couple of takes last night - which is why it's a little messy. My first attempt at this type of genre :)

Put this together in a couple of days. The original made me think of those classic space opera tunes, so I thought I'd try and emulate that. My first submission of music for anything :)
