Trappppppppppp. Had an idea, but didn't make it in time. Half of this is thrown together in half an hour.

What is it good for?

Ohhh, war, I despise
Because it means destruction
Of innocent lives
War means tears
To thousands of mothers eyes
When their sons go to fight
And lose their lives
I said, war, huh
Good God, y'all
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing

I found a nice raggae groove but hadn't any ideas or time to elaborate, so this is probably the most boring one I've participated with.

Had a lot of fun with this one, perfect for testing my new soundcard and headphones. I went down the disco lane with the Battletoads and Double Dragon source and experimented with a vocoder for the first time.

Electrodub was the outcome of this experiment and I had a lot of fun. Might be hard to hear the source even though parts of it is straight midi rip (but much slower).

Finally! I've tried to do a dubstep remix of the last 3 months tunes of PRC, and now I finally made one that sounds pretty decent and has more than one bar of source material.

Not very much from the source in this one, and I rushed the ending a bit, but I am quite satisfied with the result.

It's a nice tune, but I found it kinda hard to remix. Would've been nice to do a uplifting melodic trance remix la Airwave, but I settled with this.

Not satisfied, but bitpop is the style I've went for in the resent months and I thought it would suit this wacky source. First time I tried the Plogue Chipsounds VST, and I like the kinda genuine NES sounds I managed to use.

The remixes that I like best are often in a certain genre which it follows quite strictly when it comes to production. This one is supposed to be Melodic/Uplifting Trance and I think I managed it well.

This'll probably be my next project to submit to OCR.

Ok, the dark irony of the poem read vs. the hentai source, I apologize for it.

This was the first time I used anything but my dear MadTracker. I tried Fruity Loops, and I must say that I prefer it.

At first I was kinda not feeling the source, it was great, but too short. Then I got myself to do something I've wanted for a long time: DnB, and I'm glad I took the time to figure it out!

At first I didn't think I would come up with somethin for this PRC due to lack in melody on this source. But I liked it a lot, so I gave it a try.

I said that I wouldn't try using guitar plug-ins again, but this one deserved it. It actually sounds decent!

It sounds similar to the symphony metal band Haggard, but lacks growling. If I could get someone to do it, I'd try to submit this one.

If someone remember, I made a similar remix a long while ago. OneUp gives you Hip-Hop, Metal, Hard Trance and some ambient part, all in one remix! And don't worry, the rap samples are from a free sample CD.

Ok, not really house, but I tried to get it kinda repetetive, yet bouncy and a bit funky.
It would be nice with some vocals, but I don't got time nor resources for that luxury.

Btw, very nice source, got me to listen to the other songs in this game, and now I want to play it!

As AlexSmith said, I enjoyed doing this piece, and I think I've improved pretty much as a musician competing in these lovely PRC compos.
Thank you!

OneUp brings you.... no, not "techno", but metal(ish)!

My first try at using "real" drums... the drums turned out very nice i think! The guitars did not though, but I love double kicks and that requires disted electric guitars (which I don't have any decent plugin for).

A bit rushed, but I had to get it done before I get drunk :D

A dance/trance/whatever remix. A bit rushed in the end, but I really wanted to submit to this PRC as it was such a quacktastic source.
