This is a fun dancey-type remix I made of the song which combines techno drums with some sort of exotic drums in the background, a few different synths including the synth trumpet and a few nice sound effects to create a remix that I feel has that nice energetic tropical feel to it {yeah, I know tequila is actually Mexican, stop reminding me :P}. Anyways, I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did making it! =D
House In A Bungalow

Ok, not really house, but I tried to get it kinda repetetive, yet bouncy and a bit funky.
It would be nice with some vocals, but I don't got time nor resources for that luxury.
Btw, very nice source, got me to listen to the other songs in this game, and now I want to play it!
As AlexSmith said, I enjoyed doing this piece, and I think I've improved pretty much as a musician competing in these lovely PRC compos.
Thank you!
I suppose this is a ska-electronic fusion. The synth parts sort of substitute vocals, but also create a cool and unique sound!
The reason the brass are mixed down a bit is because the samples aren't the best around and I didn't want them to be too exposed and sound unrealistic. But I have mixed them loud enough to be comfortably heard and blend nicely into the mix.
(I think this is the earliest I've ever submitted a PRC entry before the deadline! I just had so much fun making this I couldn't wait to post it. :D)
Enjoy! Cheers,
Alex.
THIS IS A BONUS ENTRY. DO NOT VOTE FOR IT OR BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN, KAY?
One day, while shopping for bananas at Miracola's new mall, you overhear music coming from one of the stores and start playing along on your portable set of instruments. Gradually, people start noticing you and throwing spare change at you until you're up to your neck in a pile of it. People come from all over the ocean to see the one-man band wonder. Your legend will continue to live on long after the music has ended. Anyway, you won't be going anywhere until someone helps you out from under all those coins.
And I included the island theme for the heck of it. Hey, I'm the bonus entry; I can do whatever I want.
