This track is basically a kind of strange one, because it's part calming, part happy, part acidic, part hardcore, and part cinematic in a way. It's beautiful, super fast, super hard, and just....soft but intense. I don't know, i like it, it's the juxtoposition of hard and soft, and i hope you like it it too. Enjoy!

not a lot going on, but the vibe is light and fun

A section of the track (Bar 49, 1m28) uses the chord progression and 8 bars of melody that come with it, from a track called "Love and Peace" by Hannes Apfolterer - rearranged for the NES.

I randomly stumbled upon the progression, and felt like I had to dig deeper into what I loved about wind band piece from memory. It's likely off the original, but I really wanted to integrate the result here, and felt the need to quote the composer I was inspired by.

A real NES would likely choke on the amount of data I used in my self-coded DPCM module (which is still very unstable, ugh...), which sounds quite authentic to me, likely a bit too clean, since I didn't add the bug that detuned the output on the original hardware, but I just needed that extra DPCM layer that I usually forgo when composing with the NES in mind to enhance the sustained harmony in its richest parts :)
