You even may submit originals or remixes from non VG-Remixes. The song should be at least 30 seconds long, for the rest there aren't many rules. Even MIDI rips are allowed this time.

Rules

My source for this is the Snow Level music from Super Mario 3D World on the Wii U. Ever since I played this game, I've loved this piece, and given the time of year I find it to be a good choice.
Now, the original is actually from Super Mario 3D Land on the 3DS, but this mix is based on the 3D World version.
It's a bit more of an "MnP" type than I would have liked, but given that I'm both moving and going to be out of town for Christmas I didn't really have the full time. But regardless, I think my instrumentation choice makes up for the conservative remix here.
I've done this up for Brass Quintet and Percussion Section.

I did a nice downtempo remix of Dream of the Shore bordering another world, from the Chrono cross OST. I tried to put a bit more emotion into this one. Although not what i had planned, it turned out pretty nice.

A track I've been wanting to make for some time now. Pretty happy with the result here.

I haven't submitted anything in years, but due to the milestone of this competition, combined with the extended deadline for artists like me who barely have the free time/privacy to record vocals, I tried real hard to deliver!
Essentially, all this is is a karaoke cover, where I'm singing on top an instrumental version of the legitimate track...so I'm also thankful to be allowed to do such a thing this time. There was an official contest before the game was released to sing this theme, which I entered, but it was definitely meant to be a 1-minute rough audition. Once I came across this background track, I totally had to brush off my previous attempt and actually give it the finished respect it deserves.
Hopefully I did the male rendition of this song justice, and I hope you like it too!

Seeing as the rules for PRC 260 (10th anniversary whoooo!!!) are lax, I figured I'd send this older bad boy in, as I ran out of energy before the deadline unfortunately. It's a remix of the 2nd boss theme for Breath of Fire 2. If it's still not permissable to send in older works, I request that this be made a (Bonus) theme instead, if at all possible. Thanks Bundeslang and all :D
