Black Samos is the Google Translated version of Dark Samus, soI couldn't resist using it as a title for the remix loleven though Dark Samus has NOTHING to do with Super Metroid. You guys oughtta check out the Google Translated Romhacks of the Metroid Prime Trilogy. You will split your sides laughing. There is also Google Translated Metroid Prime Hunters, Metroid Fusion etc
Silly titles aside, I did take a serious approach to this remix and went for a VERY dark, corrupted cinematic vibe. Hope y'all dig it. If notBlack Samos will come for youuuu~
Experiment status report update. Metroid project 'dread' is nearing the final stages of completion.
This is really best thought more of a re-imagining of Bowser's Introduction more than anything else. Nothing really fancy going on here, mainly just layering playing with the same melody throughout. Was some fun though.
Edit - This is just a re-upload after doing some more work on the mix itself. I did not really like the first mix much, so I came back and fixed it.
Just a quick something, didn't try to put too much in, i wasn't feeling any inspiration. Enjoy anyways.
Super Metroid Title Theme. A tribute to the lone hunter who stands between the galaxy and ruin.
For inspiration, I drew on Tetris Attack's Japan version (Panel de Pon) in which this song was used for the final boss. I decided to forgo the original's organ heavy composition and try more orchestral elements instead. It was fun to make.
