I decided to pick a more modern game track. I chose the instrumental intro to mirrors edge. I did a remix of it for rwts, and i think it would be fun to see what you guys come up with for it!

Sup Guys
So this song is remixed in a style which is a bit different from the stuff I've been doing lately, but that also is very similar to the stuff I was doing around 5 years ago for PRC. I mixed it in one go tonight.
As always, I joined the compo because the source was plain awesome, and to try new things and have a lot of fun in the process. Mission accomplished!

I realized as I was posting this that this is my first remix of a modern game that i've ever finished. Very nice and simple source that has near unlimited remix potential.
There's still a section or two that needs to be ironed out but I hope I did the game justice with this one.

I wanted to try something new, so I decided to try "dream trance", though I feel like I might have ended up with something more in the "chillout" range.
Either way, I think it came out kinda cool sounding! I mean, you really can't lose with the Mirror's Edge theme.

I wasn't familiar with the source at all, and I only listened to it partially a few times through today for the sake of time; hopefully I have enough of the source in here for it to be considered a remix :/
The source sounded pretty cool, and I definitely had that "hmm how do I remix this" kind of feeling again. I figured I'd start with upbeat drums, and just went from there.
