1) TheVideoGamer : it gives another vibe to the original genre.

Good creativity there. And Kuddos for getting this remix longer.

2) Wassup Thunder : That's interesting to change the style to an orchestra.

Some part of your remix kind of reminds me of theme battle music (for instance FF7 battles).

I'm not a specialist in orchestra symphonic arrangements but in my ears there is way too much reverb everywhere.

Maybe you do your mixing with headphones exclusively ? As it is hard to hear reverb with them.

3) Souperion : I like the sound of it.

Calm and restful. But I don't like much the second part.

Other than that : the bonus tracks are fun to listen to !

I like both of them. If they weren't bonus tracks I would vote for them ;)

On White Wings (Flight) - Going full acoustic here? Cause I have to admit this is really pretty. It is almost orchestral, but pulled back enough to be small enough that it could be like a chamber orchestra or something. I don't know, but man you've got some wonderful ideas here and the instrumentation choices overall are a fantastic pick.

Flight of the Synth - Banging! Not gonna lie I love your bassline here. The snare choice is rather interesting to me though. When you said 80s I was expecting some gated reverb gunshot type snare. But this is a fairly acoustic snare molded for more electronic work. And you've got some fantastic voicings going on here. I really do like some of the ways that you made this track ebb & flow. Otherwise not much else to say. This is a wonderful take on the track.

Dolucky's Reibu Soko - Ready your ears for an onslaught! Actually getting some Immortals vibes here. And yeah this is just pure energy from start to finish. So, many little details everywhere haha.

Dolucky's Symphonic Stew Rave - While I'm not an orchestrator myself, I want more brass! However, you've got some courage to even attempt this. Honestly, I really like this because the idea is so monumentally crazy.

SNES_Terranigma - Flight (HLEET Remix) - This is just a wonderful sounding orchestral take on the track. Slick.

TheVideoGamer - Enjoyed this song a lot, has a nice relaxing feeling.

Wassup Thunder - Much stuff in this song. Ending is a bit abrupt but I liked how you changed the style.

Hleet - Short one, but still an interesting take with much potential.

Souperion - Nice way of using the source in combination with the samples.

IamVideoGamer - Massive mix, much is happening in this one but not too much.

APZX - Liked this one as well, good job.

TVG: I had a feeling that Flight would be right up your alley, and you delivered. Such a lively arrangement, very fun and energetic. Very nice work. Aaaand your Dolucky thing was frenetic. Full of excellent touches and flairs, it's all you.

APZX: I love how this piece travels. It starts out sounding like a cyerwarfare thing, then proceeds to consistently evolve and change. Really fun listen.

Wassup T.: Ooh, I think this works. It may not have turned out as great as you wanted, but I think the approach went great with the source. Really liked the chromatic woodwinds doing those rises and falls. I'd say nice work!

Hleet: Like those drum samples. Sweet and gentle arrangement, perhaps like a slow children's march. Nicely done.

Souperion:

I liked the approach of going almost all woodwinds, could hear the flutes, clarinets, and stuff nice and clear. The harp thingy and choirs were a great touch. A beautiful arrangement, reminded me of things I like from Zelda soundtracks. Great work!

Flight of the Synth: Oh, this sends me back. Freaking great 80's style, it sounds so right. That one main lead kinda reminds me of a harmonica, which is awesome. It's all so sparklying and clear, love it! And that solo slaps. Really gets a great flighty vibe. Well done!

Doluck'ys Reibu Soko: And CRUNCH! Love the slight lo-fi nature you captured, it's almost industrial in in a few ways. I knew you'd absolutely tear up this source, it's fire. And that finale was awesome.

APZX:

Love the trance influence on this! And the new melodies you created were fantastic. All the rise and falls gave terrific dynamics. You gave a great twist on this source, great work!

hleet:

Really liked the percussion on this! Those bass drums and snares were great. A very nice, faithful remix, recreating the soaring vibe of the original. Nice work!

After thinking long and hard i think Souperion should get the win. From the top yes?

Souperion - Lovely harp sounds, very mystical, almost feels like it belongs to some kind of wonderland. The intro is lovely, because it sets up for the main melody, which completely changes the key. Really a big fan of the overall approach, very RPG like, perfect for that kind of setup. I feel like more could have been done with the source. I would have liked a bass part personally, it's very reliant on high end in this. Also i would personally do a bit of clean-up, it's a little muddy in some areas. However the original ideas that come through towards the end is just very nice. Perfect Segway into changing the chords, yet keeping the melody, that's a lovely touch. All in all, this has a lot of potential, it's lovely. Well done!

APZX - Nice to know my source is getting a fair bit of love, it is a very much high energy tune, and perfect for stuff like this. I love also your addition of vocal samples, but then again the original contains a mouthful of them, so it's understandable. This one really brings out the melody of the original, compared to the original, which the melody is blended with the beats. The addition of a rich and vibrant solo is also really awesome, really take it to a whole new level. Shame i can't vote for this, it's actually really good! Love also how you've managed to expand the source out into 3 minutes, rather than the 1 minute 30 mark, the piece ends with. The last part is a little confusing melodically. We have a lot of 303 and pad sounds, playing mostly in the E Major range, yet the piano stabs in the original, begin on the D Major chords. However it makes up with the super bright ending, i love the ending part where it goes into very happy/sparkly territories. Yeah sure there is polish to be had, and maybe (Although minor), the risers are a little overused, but besides that i loved this one a lot, well done!

Wassup Thunder - Transcribing dance music to orchestra? Now this i gotta see lol. I love how you've managed to make the main melody very clear and concise in this version, compared to the blended mix of the original, as in the original the bassline, the break, the melody are all working together, compared to this, where certain elements are been accented. The idea is super cool, and the way you've managed to transform some of the vocal chops into distinctive melody ideas, is also cool. I understand not everyone has the ability to add vocals into a piece of this magnitude. The big problem i sadly have with this is mostly 2 things. Like with Souperions, the mix is a little muddy in my opinion, and where Souperion lacks in bass, yours's is a little overcrowded in bass. I can tell your trying to orchestrate the break in this one, and it works on paper, but i feel it could be more refined. The electronic stylings of the original, serve a purpose. In this one i feel more polish could perfect the idea. Honestly i think adding in electronic drums, could even bridge the gap who knows. Despite all that though, the idea was lovely, and a perfect unique approach to my source, i really did have a lot of fun with this one, well done!

hleet - It's hard to critique in detail, when i only get 1 minute's worth of music. The shorter the pieces, the less i have anything to say. The orchestration in this one, was surprisingly lovely in this one, it's very much feels like some military march or something, definately cinematic. I love the drum work in this, and the melodies were super clear and dynamic, big selling point for me. Not sure about the electric bass, there's no presence involved, and sells more like a unnoticeable background element, than a deep bassline. There was also no proper ending either, it sadly just cuts out in the middle of the source, making me believe this is an unfinished demo. However though i did love the idea a lot, and i loved how well versed the melody was. The mix is surprisingly clean too, not much fault with that one. Yes it does still need a bit of polish, as do with my remixes, but i did enjoy this one a lot. Well done!
