TVG I really liked overall where this one went - so much buildup and variety in it. Good work
Meistr: Good job with the opera-style and capturing the traditional Chinese style music.
THEGREATDESTROYER: enjoyed the hard industrial sound and the interesting use of the sound effects. They were kind of strange, but they work in the context and add a lot of interest.

TheVideoGamer - This one is kind of repetitive, but mostly in the base layer, as the rest is designed not to be. The main ostinato (If you were to call it that), is effectively a bass, piano and a 303 that starts from the beginning to the end. The 303 is slowly modulated to add a bit of excitement, but it's not a big effect, it's sporadic in it's usage. The rest of the track is basically just sounds woven in and out. There is a main melody and chord progression but it doesn't happen throughout, only in certain parts, the track is all about introducing different sounds that are woven in and out as you listen. Not the most complex piece, it is quite the simple tune, but i think it's kind of effective at what it does. Oh well, glad you liked it anyways!
Souperion - Pretty flutes, this is quite the Medievil sound, i really feel like i'm in an old timey village. The melodies are uplifting, but in a cool mystical way it's hard to describe it. I do long for strings in this one for me (I mean a string section, not like a violin or anything), but that's about it. I suppose smoothing also could work to reduce the intense cluster of sound, but aside from that, this is wonderful either way. Super beautiful stuff, in fact it was so beautiful i placed it on the top spot. Incredible work!
Vi0let25 - Interesting string modulations. I don't often hear strings modulating in pitch, normally i would expect a synth for that. There is a lot of dead spots here, and i don't know if it's intentional. It results in a lot of moments where nothing is happening. I do feel the reverse cymbal sets me up for a beat that never comes, the only percussion is a hi-hat and shaker. The melody is nice though, i will give you that, it's just the track feels like there's something missing. Still though it was a lot of fun, good job!
DarkShadow - Interesting rhythms here. It has a techno sound, but with the time signature craziness i would expect from you. The kickdrum is pretty in your face for this track, it kind of beats you down. The drop was quite different, almost so that it made me go "wow". Not sure what you did, but the synths are so crazy, it sounds like a machine gun, but for lazers instead. Ir's hard to follow along the melody in this, it's pretty intense. Bass work at the end was quite loud. It's a shame i sense so much potential it sounds great, but it needs smoothing for me i'm sorry. Good job!
Wassup Thunder - Wow lots of techno stuff this week. Loving these rhythmical synths, it sounds quite metallic and factory like. Not expecting this kind of sounds to be fair from you, but i definately vibe with it. That synth melody is not making a huge statement, but man it adds so much, i love it. The overal melody ideas here are just great, super catchy but not in your face. It has that right balance of hard hitting, but not too intense. So many lovely changes, i really feel the dark vibe here, i loved it. Well done!
THEGREATDESTROYER22 - Guess the artist huh? I'd say Pink Floyd given what's referenced in the description, but who knows. I love the beat in this, it's so hard hitting, and the guitar sample works exceptionally well. I like the scratches, you really gave this a hip-hop vibe like no other. Singing is really nice, although some parts feel like they are getting lost in the beat, but that's just me. I feel as well we could add more melodic ideas to the sample to make it even more epic, but as it stands, i think honestly there's way more to like than dislike, it's pretty great. Well done!
UnknownPseudoartist - This one be short and kind of creepy. Interesting sound effects, and harp melodies. Partially got that horror vibe even if the instrumentation screams RPG. It's kind of airy and cold. The "drop" if you were to call it that got things going, but then after 2 seconds the piece ends lol. Definately don't have any problems extending that, as i really felt it was over too quickly. I sense a lot of potnetial here, it was really good, definately nailed the RPG vibe. Good job!
Meistr - Nice percussion, you also sort of went the Medievil sound, but more oldschool China than Medievil england. It's a pleasent and calming melody, not much bass, but a soothing melody nonetheless. I'm shocked you actually took the time to speak chinese. You are either native to the country, or you took lessons, because this is very impressive. They're are somethings i would do a little different just to make it a little more dynamic, however the singing is so good, especially for a different language, and the melodies are great. So great i chose it for the 2nd spot, amazing work!
Arcana - Acoustic yet electronic, it's kind of cool. So many sick chords here, it's not dissonant chords, but it's so cool. The beat is extremely fire, i don't knoe what happened, but i really love this beat, it's super dynamic and catchy! I also love the trance element but in a more downtempo setting. The vocals are mixed exceptionally well. It still has potential don't get me wrong, but man i don't know what happened here but this is quite the glow-up. I actually love it. The vocal melody is great also, not out of tune, it's lovely. I could vote for this actually, even though i only have 3 to choose from. Awesome work!
obScene - Another entry barely at 50 seconds heh. It's quite the intense piece, in a way i am reminded of Bach, but in that crispy obScene orchestral way, the changes really do feel Bach. It's just a shame it's so damn short, i was really getting into it, as you decide to end it. I just love how baroque it all is. I still don't feel like the length would convince me to vote for it, but the sounds were soo nice, and the melodies were so catchy, i'm putting in the awesome section. Well done!
jxsl - Sudden dynamic shift, were now in loud territory lol. I love the whimsical chords, and tight beat, but everything is so loud and compressed, i feel like there is just an anvil thrown ontop of the master. Shame because the melodies are so fun, but mixing can make or break, and i'm afraid it's not for me. Ending is abrupt, but i will say the melodies are a lot of fun. It has potential, good job!
turbo852 - Great use of sound effects, i feel like i'm by the water, relaxing, even though the theme is of a snake haha. Interesting minor chords, it's not your typical progression at all. Hi-hat work is perhaps a bit too sharp, however i see you went for more of a Dubstep genre, the growls are quite well produced, and the beat is different than your standard EDM piece, it's nice. Lots of smoothing in the mix, could make this awesome, i just find for me personally, the hi-hat was a bit too loud, and maybe the mix overall is a little too compressed. However it is a lot of fun, so don't be discouraged. I loved the idea, good job!
cryef22 - More water sounds! This is a very quiet waveform, although Violet's was perhaps maybe quieter. I love the chord progression here, it's got that great use of A there. The melody is very well done, it's super catchy, i was humming along. This kind of melody and bassline just screams for a beat for me, but yet i never got one. Sure we have hi-hat rolls, but that's not enough for me lol The rest though is beautiful, you've nailed your melody game. Add a pad onto this, and it would probably be top 3. But still either way, this one is absolutely beautiful, the strength of the melodies alone is enough for me to put you in the awesome section. In fact after relistening i actually felt it was good enough for the 3rd spot, amazing work!
Top 3 - Souperion, Meistr, cryef22.
Arcana also deserves a vote (obScene too, but that track barely reached 50 seconds...)
