@CotMM - "Surprise! Happy Birthday Eduardo! You don't have to worry, you're not gonna die!"

@Misael.K - Or Maybe Eduardo was really TVG in disguise!

@CotMM - Swamprave except with a build up to a drop that never came to be lol.

@CotMM - It's a speedup to death, not to a drop lol. So technically "I am the god of kidnapping people in the middle of a weird location!"

@Misael.K - Bombs exploding oooo

@Greendjssa - He may have a little gas in him from all the nerves haha.

@Wassup Thunder - Thats....actually a gif....

@Misael.K - Is this some kind of Beethoven meme thing, i'm lost lol.

@CotMM - This be a John Carpenter type beat.

@Misael.K - RIP

@Souperion - Pretty intense stuff huh?

@Everyone - Thanks for the kind words!

Now then...

TheVideoGamer - This track is pretty much a slow building track into a climax, that...doesn't really exist to be honest. It starts of with some Swamp SFX and a deep pad, before we have the main mallet ostinato. That then get's developed a little bit, followed by a lead melody, up until the beat. When the beat hits, we speed up into the impact, before a brief moment of semi-silence (Mostly the swamp FX), and then round 2. The first part of round 2 is more chordal material and a New Jack Swing like beat (Because why not), before we move up 2 steps into the final speed up and build. We think there's gonna be an impact, but no it's just....ends. Is Eduardo dead? Who knows.....find out in all new Season 2 of the TVG Chronicles lol. No but in all seriousness, i like this track, although not completely a soundscape, it has enough spookiness and tension to really get you going for this unsettling theme. Glad you got something out of this!

Lyra_183 - Great singing! The levels in this one are perfect, not too loud or quiet. There are moments where you sing too close and too far into the microphone. So some parts sound far away, and some sound close. Still enjoyed the singing, but it sort of makes for some weird depth perception. Congrats on getting into Reach by the way, super amazing achievement! Good job!

DarkShadow - If the waveform isn't loud, then it's not DarkShadow lol. If it's also not dissonant, it's not DarkShadow lol. I like the Machine Gun effect here, but i do find it hard to keep time, and to keep up with the melody, it's not really a singing piece, as it's more a...sound design piece. Also short too, but that's a DarkShadow staple. Good job though!

Chaseracer - Welcome? Don't think i've met? This is a really nice pad and kick combo. Beat is very cool, kind of hip-hoppy but with an electronic influence. At first i thought there is silence, but no it's just the extremely faint pad. The development to the beat is great in the second half, but i still feel it needs more. The whole thing is very simple and minimal, to the point where the beat takes over a little too much. However for your first entry, i enjoyed it a lot, has a lot of really cool textures, good job!

Souperion - Semi East Asian inspired. Feels very much like a Souperion trademark style (Or maybe Medieval, one or the other). It has a lot of really cool modulations here in the chords, very peaceful and perfect for the theme, totally fits a video game RPG vibe. Honestly it's just a lovely beautiful piece, awesome work!

Coloradoweeks - A nearly 4 minute entry? Not heard of from Colorado, wow. 1 minute is the average, but you went full on song mode. The chords are pretty, especially that last chord, and the drums are super tight, mix of trap and RnB, but in a downtempo synth fashion. This is amazingly chill, and super pretty. Very much a lo-fi chill beats to to explore swamps to. The chord changes are really great too, totally get that unexpected chord thrown in. This is perfect laidback music, that could almost fit a rap or some Verse and Chorus action in. Just beautiful, enough for the 3rd spot! Amazing work!

Wassup Thunder - Moar strings! Very much feels like a Danny Boyle movie. Lots of great tension in the melody, despite being in the same root note. It's a slow builder, but done in a lovely way. The track is a bit on the quiet site, but the atmosphere is nailed. Party spooky, part strange, but very relaxing. The synths shouldn't work, but they do. It does need some work in the dynamics. When the drums come in, i was expecting a full volume dynamic shift, but instead it's the same volume. Has a lot of potential, but still enjoyable. Good job!

DDRKirby(ISQ) - Bitcrush for the win! It's like a mix of Ambient music, and...VGM? It's actually probably classed more of experimental. It's definately got a heavy NES edge to it (Compared to some of your others). It reminds me of DuckTales a lot...which is not surprising, as a lot of your tracks remind me of DuckTales. The noise channel is working overdrive here. It's a full on percussion fest. Despite the spooky chords, it's not dissonant at all, and is super fun, with a lovely catchy melody. Awesome work!

animatrix1490 - Colourful arps. Really liking the note choices, definately spooky. The faded brass is a lovely melodic touch. The drums are more for effects in this, than an instrument, which i feel could be turned more into a drum explosion. The chords are great, but it gets to a point where it's a bit too...clustered. I feel like we need a bit of dynamic space in this, to really let it shine. It sounds great though, lots of potential. Good job!

Greendjssa - I think this is your 2nd entry? I've lost count already haha. This has some really great Double Bass action here. Really nice and cinematic, but also spooky and calming. Piano could perhaps benefit to a bit of reverb (Or a bit more if there is some), and maybe less repetition in the bassline, a bit of buildup to something epic might work too. I loved what i heard though, has a lot of potential, good job!

Nukage - Ooh interesting samples in the beginning, not sure what it is, but it's definately scary. Not something for relaxing in. Trap beat is unexpected, but goes hard...then again you've always made insanely hard music. The basslines in this are quite powerful, and i love it. The drop was also unexpected....and dam it goes insanely hard. That's 2 words i always use for you. Insanely Hard. This one never gives me time to anticipate the drops lol. It's so unexpected, but it's amazing nonetheless. Long story short, i love this, awesome work!

NickC - Great subs here, reminds me of an earthquake. Foreboding, and signals something bad is about to happen. Piano is spooky and dissonant, as scary music should be. It builds up from a pure sub, into a full blow Zombie Apocalypse kind of mood. There is no melody in this, it's all Augmented Chords and 5ths. Flute melody was not expected, but i dig it a lot. Perhaps a bit harsh in the frequencies overall, but as with a lot of your tracks, i'm supposed to hate it, but i end up loving it. The fast piano at the end was also....strange and offputting. This is like Schoenberg at this point, it just further descends into dissonant 12 tone melody ideas. I tried listening to it again, and unfortunately although i like it, i still felt it was dissonant enough to be off-putting so it became a Good Job from me, sorry.

obScene - Cinematic obScene strikes again. Slowly building up with filters, into something very relaxing, almost like a dream. In a forest i should be scary, but i end up falling asleep. The detuned ostinato brings things straight back into spooky territories. The piano chords are also inequivalently obScene, and yep i love them. Chords are lovely, really sad and depressing, but with a lot of spooky moments. Can you tell i love this? The tempo change at the end was also a great touch. It just keeps on building. Super dynamic and theme fitting, just...awesome. I don't care about the abrupt end (I did it for my track for crying out loud), i love this. So much it's on the 2nd spot! Incredible work!

Arcana - Happy chords. Your vocal work is great in this. Your mixing is definately improving as you partake in these compo's. The drums are cool, very old-school funky. Great effects. There is work to be done, if you want my no holds barred opinion, and it's a bit on the happy side for me. It does have potential, the idea is lovely, but the drums are a bit hot, and the vocals are either in front or behind. I don't know, but it was lovely, good job!

Misael.K - Now that is a lovely piano melody. This one plays more into the mystical aspect of the theme. Whereas mine was just...scary. I really dig the add 9ths in this. It's got a very hazy psychedelic sound. Semi-warm too, feels like we belong to a new race of people, who are welcoming. The velocity changes in the chords is a lovely touch. Amazing chords and melodies, it's that kind of uplifting but mystical kind of chords, i'm super attracted to. The last part was lovely, amazing shift from a simple piano into a synth EP then a sudden rock section. I just love this, it's probably at the moment one of my favourites from you in the last few rounds. So much so, i picked you on the top spot! Incredible work!

JH Sounds - JH Sounds without vocals, is like Pizza without cheese. Not something i'm used to lol. Now this sounds like Live Piano, but i'm not sure if it's you playing on a record function in Garageband, or if this is real. My hutch is real, because the audio quality is muffled, likely from the piano. Now you say this is a broken piano, so maybe this is a recording of that? If it's an IPad then i'm kind of impressed, as GarageBand can do so much, that i don't even realize. Really nice chords here, ton of fun. Simple and effective, well done!

Top 3 - Misael.K, obScene, Coloradoweeks.
