Lenticels really nailed the idea of a flame, and a fleeting experience.

@CotMM - I'd say more like 30 percent juice lol.

@Datanoh - RIP

@Misael.K - Yep, my description explains everything.

@Arcana - Of course it isn't. The original is listed as rap music.

@Suzums - I wanted to make pure psychedelic music, but i ended up diversifying a little from my idea. I don't know if i need to brush up on practicing, because i don't usually go for this style. Also, this is what my brain decided on at the time, so i just rolled with it. Oh well, glad you liked it. And no, it's not the new "Mostly Ambient", because i actually admitted it this time.

@Misael.K - My beat is very 80's sounding. Are you sure MCMiag would do this?

@CotMM - Emo Rap is really just 2010 SoundCloud trap music.... :/

@Arcana - It does need a fair bit of clean-up to make it sound better, so if i were to try Psychedelic stuff again, or this idea, i might do some things a little differently.

@Misael.K - Well i am looping 3 major chords on repeat lol.

@Datanoh - I'm glad that Juice WRLD make a song about Candles, because it fits the theme of this OHC, and the melody was very simple enough, for it to be transposed into the key signature of my composition and not have it sound like garbage.

@CotMM - To be fair, i even admitted it in my description. It's less on the accessibility, and more of a simplistic kind of idea. The repetition might be too much. It was fun trying to match vocals to original backing tracks though, i might explore that more.

@Arcana - Yeah i'm sorry, the vocals were more of a later addition, so i didn't have time to properly chop and stretch. I was working to a limit lol.

@Everyone - Thanks for the kind words!

TheVideoGamer - So my description kind of tells you essentially what you need to know. I tried making Psychedelic music (You know, the late Beatles sound), and this ended up being the result. This isn't my interpretation of it, but rather what i ended up with, as a result of me trying. I was not working to a script or template, other than my usual standard OHC template, with all my plugins loaded. The main sounds come from an 80's style drum kit, a looped ostinato throughout, which serves as the main motif, a simple chord progression of Major Chords, and a dynamic solo in the middle. The vocals were kindly provided by Juice WRLD (RIP), and was made both as an interesting experiment, and also because i felt it would bridge some of the gaps, and alleviate some of the repetition. I feel the vocals really bring something to the table. If i were to do it again, i would do more tweaking to make it sound right. Glad you liked it anyways!

DDRKirby(ISQ) (First Entry) - I apologise for sounding rude, but i think this should've be shared at the end of the listening party, not during OHC, especially since you already have a 6 minute submission on here, regardless if it's a great trailer of music for your upcoming game...

Lyra_183 - The theme is candles, but your...singing....about computer viruses? Is this even the right round lol. Great singing, very clean. Could totally hear a beat on this, good job!

DarkShadow - ALL THE SQUARESSSSS. Tight signature switches. This one is very extreme in the FM, and unfortunately not my favourite, largely because the end was a bit too much personally. Good job though!

Souperion - Making a Mega Man X type beat in an hour, wooo. Your melody writing is always strong, i love it. It does need a bit of clean-up, there is a lot of muddiness in the samples, and can get a lil' loud, but the idea was super fire, especially the melodies. Good job!

Koekepan - Moody and chill. This is very fitting to theme, more so than i did with mine. Then again i suck at sticking to one idea lol. The pads are lovely, really make it chill, and kind of calming, but with some cool chord changes that add a more spooky flavour to the sound. It's just lovely stuff, nothing bad to say, well done!

DDRKirby(ISQ) (Second Entry) - You already uploaded a 2 minute entry dude. I don't think it's appropriate to add another full 6 minute piece to the mix (Which already caps at the limit alone). It means you've pretty much submitted 8 minutes worth of music in total. I'm not "that guy", but i feel this is just a loophole around the 6 minute rule, which to some is seen as unfair. Sorry dude. This composition is lovely however, the tribal drums, mixed with the super calming kalimba type sounds is just...beautiful. I could totally see this as a soundtrack for some kind of nature documentary. Large open plains of African land with animals roaming free, it's great. It's not repetitive at all, this was just lovely. Despite the unfortunate grip about the length of both submissions combined, the idea was awesome, so it still belongs in the awesome category. Well done!

Lenticels - Sweet piano chords, the 7ths on this one are sooooo good. Loving the laidback drums in this one, comes in whenever it feels like it lol. The chords in this one are just....really good. I'm feeling more than just piano and a bassline though. I was hoping for some pad chords/strings, or maybe some leads in there. Make it more dynamically varied, more exciting. However though, this feels more like a Lo-Fi Hip Hop type thing, so i can't say too much, as this style is more of a stripped down approach. Still though, after thinking long and hard, i found more to like, than dislike. Well done!

Barley - GRUNGE! That bassline is very dirty. Your vocals are processed in a unusual way, i don't know if it's intentional, but it sounds like a telephone effect. The drums are sadly buried again, and the vocals really seem in your face for this one. It has potential though, lovely idea, good job!

Suzumebachi - We gonna get some luscious chords again? The king of harmony? The changes in this one confirm my suspicions. The drums feel like elevator music aka Muzak, but the chords feel very atmospheric, hard to tell which artist to compare it to. Not Kraftwerk, but maybe from that sound. Maybe Tangerine Dream, i get that kind of vibe from this piece. Ends a little abruptly, but awesome idea. Well done!

Dex - Awesome intro fill. This is very RAWKKKING, for a theme about Candles lol. Totally fits the 2000's Pop Punk sound, perfect for artists like Fenix TX and Blink-182 and Sum 41. Way too aggressive for the image personally, but daam this was just fire. Amazing guitar work, it's very rawking, soo much fun! Well done!

Arcana - Live Theremin? Dam, that's very neat. Love how it manages to blend with the electronic elements. I thought it was gonna stick out like a sore thumb, but it didn't, it was great. Vocals were really nice, but the harmonisation was very weird, and kind of dissonant personally, just like the Theremin is sadly. I'm guessing you are learning the Theremin. I've never used one, so i can't say, however you did a great job with this though, it was a lot of fun. Good job!

Misael.K - These plucky sounds reminds me of Suzumebachi lol, it's a staple of his sound. I love the way you build on these arps, by adding more stuff, such as some really cool chords, and dynamics. The pad sounds get more and more aggressive, and spicy as you progress, it's pretty cool. The arps are on the clicky side, i would probably tone a little of the high ends down, but this one is a minor critique, and probably based on personal taste. The ending was amazing, really makes it all cinematic, with some super strong piano, pads and string work (Or at least synth string work). The ending makes it into just...an awesome piece. Well done!

Eva - Some really great bitcrushed beats here, the chords are very cool. Beats are kind of hot, i would bring up the guitar a little, to match the intensity of the beats. However the idea is super fire, and has a lot of potential. Good job!

InvisibleObserver - Late entry les goo. Sick dubs and wubs going on, loving the drums, very loud and in your face, totally fitting for dubstep. This one maybe be a little too loud (Even if i said it was a good thing). Maybe this one was a quick 15 minute entry, i do understand we only have an hour for these things. Aside from a bit of loudness, the idea was very fire, and totally has that great sound design going on. Just needs a lil' mixing. Good job though!

Top 3 - Suzumebachi, Misael.K, Koekepan.

My top 3 could have changed on any day, it was hard ranking these, all 3 were awesome. This is what i felt at the time of voting.

These 2 should be on the list also:

Dex

DDRKirby(ISQ) (Second Entry) (If you didn't make 8 minutes total worth of uploaded music, that might have swayed me to put it on the list, however the rules are rules. I apologise if this makes me come across as rude.)

Awesome - Koekepan, DDRKirby(ISQ) (Second Entry), Lenticels, Suzumebachi, Dex, Misael.K.

Needs Work - DDRKirby(ISQ) (First Entry), Lyra_183, DarkShadow, Souperion, Barley, Arcana, Eva, InvisibleObserver.
