Great work everyone, I'm glad to get this little known source some love.
Souperion I give the 1st vote. The rustic-bluegrassy style made a unique while faithful approach. The strumming guitars kept a lively energy going, letting the woodwinds often shine on the melody. The washboards and tamborines made a great foundation for the rhythm and percussion, a beautiful effect. And that minor-key bridge halfway was absolutely killer, gave me some pirates of the Caribbean vibes. Wonderful melodic variation and countermelodies. And the claps at the end was a great climax.
TheVodouQueen, I give the 2nd vote. I'm quite amazed how well you got "Gimme Some More" to fit to the progression of Bena Rikashi, a really impressive feat of mixing and editting! The Bena Rikashi bass and melody were nicely instrumented for a backing track. It may have been a good effect for the MnP style to put a bit more emphasis on the source, but the achievement of putting it to a rap song is quite the accomplishment.
TheVideoGamer I give the 3rd vote. The swing beats worked very well, a great way to liven up its rhythm! Very nice instrumentation, sounded like a synthetic flute pad taking the lead melody. You achieved a very faithful vibe, but with a real fun melodic variation! Loved that part you added. A note of concern though, the drums seemed to need a bit of editing as they drove up on the sound ceiling and caused some clipping. That aside, many fun victories on this piece!

After thinking long and hard i believe Souperion should get the win. Let's go from the top!
Souperion - Nice Banjo interpretation, it's very country influenced which is a nice way to fit the source. I also really like how you've added a lot of your own melodies, especially since there is only a chord progression and one top line. So the source can be simple and repetitive, which in this case you've really added a lot of variations to the melody. The only gripe i have from listening to this, and it's a minor one, since the arrangement here is very nicely done, is that i would do even more small changes to keep it interesting. It feels like you are relying too much on the two chords, which is fine, but you could add some more chords, or instrument and dynamic changes to really make it shine. Again this one is minor, because two chords can mean a lot in certain context. I only say this, just as additional ways to keep it interesting (Especially since we don't fall into the trap of intense repetition). All in all i really dig this arrangement, i love the country inspired approach, well done!
Wassup Thunder - Really nice take on the source, i really dig the more simplistic approach, you've seem to follow on par with the original, which is great, especially since the source does things well. I do like the small additional melodies creeping in, it kind of makes it cartoony in areas. The one thing i do notice in this, that needs a bit of work is the main melody and the backing. The trumpet part at the start seems a bit lost, because of the extreme attack, and the backing is very aggressive, especially in the guitar and bass, then later in the percussion. Dynamic changes could really bring this to life. Saying that i love how you take the source and make 3 different parts to it, something almost unique to the source. The start is where things are at the heaviest, but i attribute that to the guitar and bass. All in all, seriously good stuff here, lovely unique ideas, well done!
TheVodouQueen - This is hip-hop? To me this feels more like a breakbeat/house thing. I assume because you are adding a rap accapella, you think it's hip-hop, i don't know it sounds lovely anyways. The vocals just work super well, this is the reason why i must always commend you for your creativity! There are parts that feel out of key for me, especially in the melody, but i do like that you are simplifying things in the source (Focusing primarily in the bassline), because the vocals are the one being in the spotlight. Busta Rhymes was always known for his speedy chops. 60 second assassin is just insane, it's sooo fast (How does he rap so fast in that song!?). Maybe there are parts in the vocals that need to lock in better timing wise, however the idea is just super cool to ignore, even if things could be improved upon. In total, this is just lovely work, definitely a great direction to take it! Well done!
