Impressive turnout today. Got a lot to discuss because of that. For this one i picked Silverpool to win. Let's run from the top.

KlevarKoopa - Your entry is quite dynamic and unique to itself. I love the bell sounds displayed, and a nice representation of the steel drums. I also love the bassline. That bassline sound is incredible. I also like how despite it being the same track, the atmosphere has changed a lot, making it more airy and breathy as a result. That's not to say i have problems unfortunately. You need better drums, i did not like them at all. They were too short, and quiet. Also this one is reliant on bells. No sax, no trumpets, not even any changes to the synth, if you were going for a synth arrangement. Even with it's limited sounds and weak job, your arrangement was still solid. Don't let it get you down, you did a great attempt.

Hoboka - Really Hoboka? You always seem to turn really good entries, into meme infused jokes. Dammit, i can't take this one seriously. Ahem, get it together TheVideoGamer, actually review this shit. For the most part, your entry was dynamic and well produced. The brass had a really good use of articulations such as the stabs and glissandi, you'd find in something like brass. Drums were ok too, if a bit too flat at points (Is that a jazz kit? That's probably why) I also liked that choir sound too, originality there for ya. The only main issue, is the steel drums. Too short, and very off-putting. It could work, except it's lost in all the other sounds. Ignoring that though, you did a good effort on this!

Silverpool - Probably the best produced of the lot. I love the use of synthesis for a nice original approach to the mix, but at the same time, keeping all the source material in tact to retain the MnP aspect of it. Everything didn't feel out of place, and i loved all the effects too. Pretty much a well sound designed remix. Only a couple problems i found. It's waaaaaay too quiet. I had to raise my volume up a few notches to hear it. That "skank guitar" you've replaced as this bell chord sound, is a tad bit annoying, but nothing too bad. I like it and all, it's just maybe a bit too long in decay. Oh well, don't let the bad bit's get you down. You've proved in this MnP why you deserve to win. Oh and great ending by the way.

Rejwan - Welcome aboard new guy. For your first remix, this was a pretty solid attempt. Probably the best use of drums out of all the entries. Nice and dynamic. I also loved the fill at the end, that was a good touch. Brass was nice, as well as the bassline. The bell sounds was also good, showcasing originality in some parts. Even if it's good, it's nice to receive some constructive criticism, as sadly i had some problems. First off, some part's were overtaking by the brass, leaving little room for bass, and mallets. Speaking of mallets, maybe try a better mallet sound. In fact the main problem to be honest, is that it sounds a little artificial for what your going for. I didn't hear much reverb, nor were some of the sounds, like the mallet sound, a good choice for the overall sound. I really hope i gave you something to look at, because as a whole this really is a solid entry. I love also how you built it up, instead of simply letting it run. That's a nice original aspect to your mix. Well done for your first attempt!

Well done guys!

Rejwan - damn I'm one unobservant PoS. I didn't see the introduction changes, until I read and re-listened. Nice work there! I'd say production is middle ground - little stiff on the sax/trumpet. They may be a tad overpowering too. But nothing was too obscured and the groove of original is maintained superbly.

Silverpool64 - The master mix. I have issues with that too, cuz I like to mix quietly for obvious health reasons. Struggle is real. But after jacking up my headphone volume, I found a delightful cover-mix. Great textures. I think the reverse samples and "wave" sounds need to be replaced, cuz those were part of the MIDI. :P

KlevarKoopa - Nice crystal world interpretation. If the beach was sucked in some form of crystalline place...or maybe Sonic is having a nice swim in crystal tides. Cool effects all around. Changes are appreciated. Feels a bit too chill from the source material, so this works better in PRC imo. Still, nice work Mr. L!

KlevarKoopa - There was a vibe change, but sweeps were utilised, the vibe was consistent, and there wasn't too much of a shift. Towards the end it seemed like the decay on the synth was too long as I could hear a lot of noise. I can imagine the original track shifting to this one if it was an Ape Escape song and Spike was pretending to sleep.

hoboka - This one was just a troll right? Think I read that in the comments anyway.

Silverpool64 - Felt the main melody was being drowned out and the mix seemed a bit quiet (no pun intended). The vibe was consistent and the instrumentation was good

Rejwan - Vibe was consistent. The steel pans section is sometimes drowned out, as well as the bass. Otherwise, the energy is still there.

I'm just going to say up front that everyone's choice of instruments is amazing.

KlevarKoopa: I see a green, grassy island underwater in the style of Mario when I listen to this ReMix, and I like it!

hoboka: This ReMix is... interesting. :) Sound clips aside, I thought some of your synths were a little quiet compared to the rest of the track, especially toward the beginning.

Rejwan: I like the intro! I also like how you also changed the arrangement of the song toward the middle of the track.

TheVideoGamer: The record scratch sound is really cool, how did you create that sound?
