Lyra: I like how you're starting to add in backing tracks into your songs. Nice job there! I like the piano line as well, that was really pretty. The vocal melody sounded good! One area to consider is to make the melody line up better with the background so it's more clear, timing-wise. One way to do this is to find the strong beats in both the melody and the backing track and make them all line up. Another thing to try is to add drums. FL Studio has pretty good drums, if you add them and sing over only the drums the result might be pretty cool.

CotMM: nice lush noise, I like the melodic higher end range that is going here that sound bright, almost illuminating. The scrapes though are haunting. Nice contrast with low end later in the piece too.

TVG: The intro was pretty. The reverbed kick is weird to me, but at this point I'm used to you breaking conventions. It makes it sound like a hard hitting track that is... like far away. I do like the pad choice overall in addition to the high evolving chimes, it's all very dense and has a wall of sound quality and it sound very generative overall. The acid bass is fun too. It's not faeries, it's acid. I like the synths in this. This sounds like it would be a great hardware jam.

Shael: The lead is wobbly and yet predictable since it wobbles in the same way each start! But we quickly go from weird to groovy. I like the drums but they are a little too crushed for my taste and seem to lose some low-end. I do like that other lead synth especially since it pans weirdly. A lot of cool weirdness overall.

MIsaelK: Lots of synths and almost-tubular-bell like things, synth string like things, and other strange goodness. I feel the track gains its grounding when the bass comes in, prior to that it's a little hard to get the direction. The atmosphere with the light sequence and the arp is nice. Very airy, sci-fi like.

Vaia: I actually really like the beginning sounds, they're nice. The melody isn't so clear when we get into the main part of the song, but I also get the feeling that this is mostly an atmospheric piece that puts forth a mood rather than a specific melody. Nice grace notes and tension through pitch throughout, you do have a lot of points where it's like "oh no what's going on?" A lot of mood here.

Garian: Nice pads, very shimmery. Almost cold. This has a lot of action in it but is still very ambient, like it's meant to convey a background mood. I find it interesting to see a track with a fast tempo and is yet so ambient.

JohnGabriel: This has some really nice sound selection. Very organic overall and whimsical. I like the swing rhythm a lot, it adds a lot to this. The melody is minimalist, but effective. Gives me almost a pirate like feel.

KonamiCommand: This is interesting because I actually looked intensely at LUMINA for a while when I was doing some (free) commissions who wanted more orchestral tracks. I listened to their demos and they were good, and this is really good too. The sounds are really strong and seemed pretty easy to use. Here we get such a nice lush opening and the solo voice does a good job with that sorrowful mood. It's like the Night Elf zone in World of Warcraft or visiting the elven city in Lord of the Rings or whatever. This is super great.

Sansero: I liked the ideas here, it was a lush beginning with a driving beat that was almost tribal. It actually resembled KonamiCommand's track in some respects because it's like the happy town introduction of the movie. I liked the ideas in here. The oboe was nice and everything was clear and crisp and there was definitely an idea. Hope to see you come back again!

As a side note, the "Probably a mistake..." in my description of my submission refers to the title of my entry not to my entry itself^^ I was in a hurry with my description so this was suboptimal.

Arcana: I love that bell melody. It reminds me of an older DOS game somehow.

DJ_KonamiCommand: Very Epic. Like a Movie-Score.

Vaiaphraim: Very chill. I like the arps. It feels like a forest level in a Metroidvenia.

TheVideoGamer - I have absolutely no idea what this theme is. I've never heard any of these terms, or the descriptions. Of course i know individual words, so i know what fairy means, but as a whole i was stumped, so it called for some research, and by the end, it gave me the impression of some kind of enchanted forest, where the fairies live. Long story short, it was very mystical and ethereal, so i used that as the basis of my track. Rich arps, soaked in reverb form the whole ambience of it all, while pad chords add extra space and depth. Acid synths, and bass sounds all give it movement, and a distorted techno beat finishes it off. I could have made it pure ambient (And a part of me was trying to), but i felt it might be too slow as a result. I don't know, i always have a habit of adding distorted beats into everything when things seem a little more boring or repetitive lol. As a whole, i think this is pretty awesome, and the more i listen back, the more i think the techno beats work well, maybe even more so than without. Glad you liked it.

Arcana - Really nice melodies and grooves here, very cute. This definitely feels like a live performance kind of thing, because it's very minimalistic. I'd say too repetitive for my tastes, but nothing where it takes me out of the experience. Looping is good though, if you think i'm saying it's not. All in all, solid work, good job!

Lyra_183 - I did not expect to find you here, but nonetheless welcome! Great guitar loops here, nice voice. Keep at it! Good job!

cotmm68030 - More Dark Ambience from the dude himself. This definitely feels like your speciality. You excel at this greatly. I really like how later on, it becomes very warm, almost like a distant call of someone you love. It's very intentionally muffled, so it's not obvious, but you feel that underlying sense of warmth. Loved all 4 minutes of this, Awesome work!

Shael_Riley - Very weird, and off the wall lol. I love the vibrato melody, and the chords are great. Second half was awesome, i love the drums and bass, it turns it into a lovely funky experience. Well done!

Misael.K - Just barely 6 minutes, and oh boy what a journey it is. The swelling pads are lovely, and the chords are amazing. From start to finish i was not bored, the melodies were awesome. I thought drums were gonna come in, because you kept advertising it as a possibility, however it never came to be. However though, i'm glad, because the melodies deserve to be highlighted. Awesome work!

Vaiaphraim - So many pretty melodies this week. Yours included. The Yamaha soundest you use, is very versatile. Sounds great, at a slow tempo, and at a fast tempo. You always create extremely nice melodies. Well done!

Garian - Another pretty composition. I love the partially inspired 80's approach, the swelling pads are lovely. Maybe if this was to be expanded upon, i would add some kind of low-end like a bass, however though I love the space, it's just lovely work. Well done!

JohnGabrielUK - Very middle eastern inspired, not what i would imagine for Fairy's or any kind of mystical forest area, so for me not related to the theme, however the composition was lovely, and the Arabian styled sounds, were rather nice. Good Job!

DJ_KonamiCommand - This orchestra is incredible, it sounds soo good. Checked out some of the Lumina demo's and they kick-ass. Now sadly i can't afford it, most plugins these day's are designed to make as much money as possible, (Lumina is sadly one of them....) but i can't say it's not amazing, because it's gorgeous. The composition really works amazingly well here, you have definitely immersed yourself in the orchestral palette. Incredible work man!

Sansero - More pretty goodness. Really like the chords a lot and the melody. Very beautiful stuff. The change into a minor key was sudden, but lovely also. Nut sure the direction of the ending, it doesn't feel like a satisfying ending, but the whole idea was lovely. Compo'ing and can be hard, i've had my moments. Good job anyways!
