After this surprisingly dark round I feel like there's need for something that really lifts the spirits. Therefore I'll go with "Freedom" by Chris H�lsbeck from Turrican II. Let's see what ya'll get out of this one!

It is not necessary to use ThaSauce. You can upload the song anywhere you want, but I must have a download link. So if you use SoundCloud, don't forget to allow downloads, otherwise your song does not count as an entry or bonus mix. I really don't got much knowledge on orchestral arrangements, I should probably do some actual studying on how to make cinematic scoring. But since I didn't, I created my best shot at a dramatic, heroic arrangement for a cinematic space marine soldier fighting for FREEDOM.
The song beckoned for both some kind of '80s retro synthwave feel and goofy, TV show, astronaut-turned-bionic-cop-commando-action-funtime. . .
I answered the call. ;)

- Fairly simplistic additions to the actual song, but I hope it's a fun trip to listen to with the vox samples used!
- Inspired by: Mega Man (NES era / '90s cartoon TV show) & Synthwave & 1980s New Wave (esp. in Japanese Anime and American Sci-Fi Movies & TV Shows)
- Kept mixing and EQ play lowkey to kind of simulate the feel of old school television in older stereo, possibly mono (so no panning this time.)
- Time spent on creation: < 8 hrs

- Genre: Dark Synthwave

EQ messing about was also fast due to time constraints...

I did an 80's type beat, because...well i hear it, when i listen to it. Giorgio Moroder, or Depeche Mode or something. Complete with FM Synths, Linndrum beats, Saw Pads and the works. I also tried to make some parts go for longer, so it doesn't feel too sudden, in the transitions. Hope you get something out of this!
Some mess of choirs, organs, and such in a vaguely hymnal/worshipful fashion. Huh.
