Secret of Mana - Make a Wish (MnP120)

Feels kinda funny to be doing this again. My choice for the next source is Secret of Mana's track "A Wish" (also known as the frosty forest or ice-crystal fields), a dreamily simple track that plays while fighting wolves and spear-wielding turtles through a lovely ice-crystal field. A bit minimalistic, but enchanting. -Souperion

After a harsh winter, the sun rises above a frozen forest, bringing about a change in seasons.
It's not quite as conservative as most of my arrangements, but I put a lot of effort into it. I wrote an original haiku specifically for this song(which you can also hear during the intro):
A frozen landscape
The warm sun rising above-
Summer has arrived
An orchestra inspired remix, inspired by Secret of Mana's Protagonist, who lost all the world he knew to accept a mantle thrust upon him by a desperate world.
In winter's night, on the solstice, this is the music by which the wolves howl to, where ice becomes tintinabulation, and wind the flute of the soul.
Lyrics (based on Ethereal Vox vocal chops):

The remix of A Wish, done in the styles (and inspired by) the band God is an Astronaut, and The Wingless' (from OCR) song, The Scarlet Halls of Night: https://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01459. It's a mix of a classical waltz and more ambient electronica, to try and shift gears a little and see if I can do things that are much more softer, quiet, and thought-provoking.

It gave me a lot more meaning to make this song than I thought the exercise / challenge would. . .
There was once an amorphous cloud. One year it decided that all it wanted for Christmas was a proper form. However, what it found instead was sound. It found that sound gave it form.
