Embracing the Chaos

You look out onto the hazy field of battle. Nothing remains but you and the destruction you've wreaked. The sudden, uncontrollable urge to laugh maniacally overtakes you in awe and admiration of what you've unleashed. I tried to capture the crescendos and unpredictability of someone coming to acceptance with, and eventually embracing their inner chaos.

Two rendering glitches came out in this version and I haven't been able to fix them (one stutter and one bar of missing melody,) so I hope that doesn't put a damper on the overall product.

Fleeting Fragments

I tried to write a motif that captures the most peaceful, beautiful dream you could ever have, but when you wake up, you're only left with fragmented pieces of this perfect scene. As you drift back into reality and out of the dreamworld, your mind races to try and grab hold of the pieces before they float away into nothingness. Eventually, the memory is lost and you have no choice but to let go, and cherish the few pieces that remain.

I wanted to add some flute/cello parts to this but was too inefficient with my time, so it's just a solo piece. Sorry :(
