DDRKirby's felt like it fit the theme and was an extremely polished arrangement. Usabell's was really surprising with how well he made the sequenced guitar work with the mood. Flik's was on the short side but what was there was surprisingly well-produced and hilarious to boot.

Neblix, Gecko, Beatdrop, and several others were great but didn't seem to fit the theme to me as well as the above three.

factoring in accuracy in theme and creativity these were easy choices for me

coda's bells right out of the gate had me looking forward to the next two minutes. The bass that kicked in around 30 seconds was obscene villainy. The return to the simple piano and bells at the end wrapped it up well.

Usabell took a bass line with some funk and turned it metal with that guitar. Then he or she went all Frank Klepacki on us and that's all it took. Not a ton of variation throughout but the parts meshed perfectly.

DDRKirby had a haunting melody, but it took a little too long to kick in for such a short song, and I found it piercing on the high notes with a bit too much vibrato for my taste. With some editing, I can see this being an incredible piece.

New OHC theme. This song makes me so happy, it puts a big cheesy smile on my face. Best compo starter ever.

Even though I feel like this could be a lot more, I really liked the changeups in the song; transitions were very well done as well. Very nice development.

Way too many entries, way too much talent concentrated in a single webpage.
A round for the records, and definitely dangerous for my health too.

So, for this once in a lifetime occasion, I'm gonna do something special.

Really liked DDRKirby's and Emunator's entries: they were excellent, completed their ideas, and nailed the theme. Same with Usa's, though with a different approach. Didn't hear the theme at all in Bren's, but that is one rocking, catchy tune. Looped that bad boy several times over the past week. Loved the little diddy of a coda by Suzume, but for trying to upstage him that Bachi is one giant dickhole.

A damned good round. Hope to hear more compos from the new faces.
