Honestly I have a lot to learn from you with these type of things. I know it's a like it or love it type of music you are going for but I think you really were effective in making it work. One thing that I particularly loved is that you used the repetition to your advantage. I felt that really come through in how the harmonic repetition somehow became almost percussive in it's usage. Definitely something to keep in mind. Good work!

SeyMORE

I liked both of them. The source I chose was simple in terms of melody, which forces you to try and hook the listener in other ways, such as instrumentation or atmosphere.
SeyMORE was more faithful to the atmosphere of the original. The addition of the vocal elements was nice. The programming of the drums was very creative, while still staying faithful to the hard-hitting feel of the source. My main issue with this one is that it doesn't stray very far from what the original sounded like. It's a great track and well produced, it could even have been a good candidate for the remaster (I like it more than the version used in the remaster.)
Psytrance was more creative with a nice shuffle beat underlying the melody. I can see you struggled a little bit with production as there is some clipping and sound quality issues. But I think with a bit more time you could have ironed it out. I like how creative this one is and it's more of a true remix. It's a shame you didn't spend an hour longer on polishing it upa bit more.
Overall I liked the way SeyMORE sounded more, and it's the one I'd probably choose to listen to more often. But in terms of creativity and actually remixing the source, Psytrance was a better track. It's borderline, and Psytrance would've been a more solid first place with a bit more polish, but I'll still give it first mainly due to the creativity. Both very good tracks. Well done to TheVideoGamer and HarlemHeat360.
