Dancing Leaves (HLEET Remix) - Promising enough start, decent acoustic drums if pushed a bit far back. Love the brass though. Ooooo, and that vibraphone. Is that a slapback hard panned delay on that guitar I hear? To my ears this is sort of like a big band take on the source and I'm digging every second of it. Sort of like a big band, but not quite. Lots of fun here.
Ray of Dancin' Sunshine - Brass all day everyday, and some clean eguitar too. Come on bring that brass forward!! You know you want to ;) Again this almost big band-esque feel to the piece. Though the bass is just lacking that tiny bit at the bottom to really fill out the rest of the band.
Dance Party - You ain't fooling around off the gate. Got my VU meters going hard though. Have them down 3dB and you're exceeding 0VU here. Got a solid groove here too despite the massive level. Though if I'm being honest I hate your snare choice lol. You could have cleared out the bottom end a bit more too. The kick and bass just don't seem to jive all that well all the time. This almost sounds like it was an exercise in just how loud you can push the track without it totally breaking. I mean, I would have rather you pulled back a bit more and let the track breath a little bit. Though that end during the fade out is honestly just super pretty.
Shooting Star Acoustic Copout - Honestly, I would have liked to rate you higher, because the idea here is so good. I can honestly hear so much that is not there in my head. Ahhh shame. Brilliant little ditty here though.

Lot of short entries this time. Then again, the source i selected was surprisingly hard to remix. Maybe next time i'll go for something easier haha. For this i think Hleet should win. From the top yes?
Hleet - I like the acoustic arrangement in this one. The organ and double bass, honestly makes it closer to a live arrangement, and what i would think the original would sound like upgraded. Maybe it's me, but i think of this as the direction the composer would have likely taken if it was given the HD treatment. The second half is just copy and paste, but i understand, this is a bit of a challenge to remix. The sliding guitar is very cool, i really like that. The instrument choices themselves are also really good. Drums could benefit from a bit of mixing, because the melodies seem to be front and centre. However within all that, it's still a lovely arrangement, and i enjoyed it a lot. It was enough for you to win, well done!
Wassup Thunder - I appreciate you trying something not in your usual territory. It is a bit of a weird and wonderful source. The arrangement is really good, i really like the chord work in this, it's brings out the great parts of the source. There isn't really dynamics here unfortunately, and most the melodies aren't really mixed in this arrangement, they get lost in the background. Really my main critique would be to introduce dynamics to this, because the idea has so much potential. Again it wasn't an easy source to remix, but next time i'll go for something more acessable. It's still a lovely arrangement, even if it's not your style you usually make. All in all, well done!
Souperion - I appreciate you at least making the time to submit something (Especially for a source tune, that's pretty hard to remix). Even if it's 1 minute of incomplete music, the idea was really nice, and the melodies were very clear and blended well with the rest of the instruments. It's not much for me to actively critique it, but it was super nice nonetheless. Well done!

Hleet: Liked the high-reverb, delay boosted guitar in the first segment. You put some good reverb on a lot here, gives it a full sound. It's good, solid work here, well done.
Wassup T.: Very boppin' drum work, your take on this reminds me of some good ol' Mario music. And I do love some saxophone. Some real phone additions in here, I'd say be proud of it.
TVG: Nearly punched me outta my seat. Do enjoy it as a mostly synth piece, you put some real fun ideas in here. Nice work!
I forgot to vote until there was like 7 minutes before deadline! I can't give much analysis on the vote, but listened to both votable tracks.
HLEET absolutely nailed the style of source, it's super groovy.
Souperion had a nice acoustic twist, thought it was a fun idea with the source. Woodwinds were a great touch as well.
