Dex - Nice guitar and the flute later on is great but too repetitive for me.
Xsquader - Reminds me for something out of Portal 2. I can hear the original song but just barely. Too experimental for my liking.
Silverpool - Too many discordant notes and sounds that clash with the main melody. Doesn't mesh well together as a song.
OneUp - Like the style and the production but the main synth sounds a bit weak.

OneUp utilizes a very upbeat and danceable sound. The electro tranceish sound is very enjoyable and very relaxing. The overall sound is very clean and not harsh to the ear to listen to. I enjoy the use of the tranceish sweeps during transition.

PlanarianHunger's mix is also a very good and pleasant mix to listen to. I do think the synth used as during transition from calm to aggressive felt a tiny bit out of place as well as the transition itself but overall it was a very good mix and I loved the slower, more calm orchestral style at the beginning towards near the end. The aggressive part was not bad but I personally wish it had remained calm and slow. This could just be a personal preference however.

Silverpool's mix is good but I wish it was a bit cleaner and also I felt that the synths used sounded a bit odd when used alongside each other. Still though, a good mix and I hope to see Silverpool around some more in future compos.

Let me preface this by saying that I've noticed I'm much better at providing criticism than praise. Generally if I don't criticize something it means I liked it or thought it was at least ok. That said..

PlanarianHugger - Overall this I dig. However the orchestral part at the beginning (first minute or so) sounds a little thin to me, you should have varied the velocities on the piano part, and the marimba sounds a touch out of tune at times. Furthermore I would have preferred the bass drum centered rather than on alternating speakers at 2:25. Overall though this is a really cool and interesting arrangement, and for me it gets first place on creativity grounds.

OneUp - I don't like EDM in general but I feel like I can tell this is good work. Your additions to the tune, variations, and dynamics changes in the song work well.

Xsquader - Sorry, I don't get this.

Silverpool - Your samples are poor and stuff is out of tune. This has been a consistent problem in your submissions. Please post your workflow setup (DAW, plugins, instruments, etc) somewhere so we can give you some feedback to help you improve.

OneUp: I love this ReMix, the opening especially. I love how it is fast paced, and how it has the same feeling as the source, but better.

PlanarianHugger: I was pleasantly surprised with your take on the source, though I would've enjoyed the "aggressive battle style" part even more if it was longer.

Xsquader: I put this ReMix in third because I can't really hear the source and I feel like the last two minutes just need a little more variation. Also, this ReMix made me think of a boss encounter rather than a battle.

Dex: This ReMix is very relaxing and pleasant. Period. :)

Dex - Liked the guitars. The combination with the flute is great.
OneUp - Funny style. The bass works nicely.
PlanarianHugger - The strings are awesome. The speed up of the samples at the end works good.
Silverpool - Funny combination of samples, the song is a bit short.
Xsquader - Weird mix of samples, a bit confusing but funny as well.
