Dex's arrangement was very creative and had some good guitar decoration and I love that solo towards the end!
Dewey's was good, just a bit short and not as much was done with it as Dex's. (Though I'm not exactly any better in the that regard...)

Dewey - Loved the funk reinterpretation. Not at all what I was expecting after that intro! Other than that I felt that it stuck really close to the source material. I would have liked to hear more reinterpretation and a real ending.

GCJ - Excellent energy, good drum writing, decent ending. Other than that it stuck really close to the source material.

I'm voting for Dewey over GCJ solely because of Dewey's creative choice to redo the song in a funk style.

I really liked PlanarianHugger's chill reinterpretation and would have voted for it in 1st place if it were a regular entry. Lots of good stuff going on in that one.

Dex - Conservative in structure but great uses of instruments. Love the piano section's contrast with the guitars and the solo. Maybe a bit muddled and hard to hear some background parts but overall great.
GCJ - Boss theme for sure with nice new background elements added to keep it interesting. The ending was abrupt and even though i like the drums they were too loud in comparison to the rest of the mix specifically the kick drum.
Dewey Newt - Short but I like the direction its going in. The bass, drums and guitar are funky but the melody is the same as the original. the two parts don't mesh well together but its a good start.

Dewey Newt - Liked this piano mix. It's short but nice.
Dex - Nice style, working well with the source. A lot of stuff is going on in this song.
GCJ - Another short song but there's a lot in it what I like.
PlanarianHugger - Very nice start, it's relaxing. Liked the combination with the stuff in the background. Nice variation.

Dex: Everything's great about this!

Dewey Newt: Nice adaptation and arrangement. Solid stuff.

GCJ: Very energetic yes, the drums could be lower, I like the synths and the breakbeats.
