PlanarianHugger - I hear you with the drums! They are mixed pretty quiet, so I can't quite hear exactly what rhythms are being played. I do hear variations in the drums, though, so that's good. Lots of neat variations and trade-offs throughout, and those Eggman samples are a great addition.

Trism - Sometimes, these compos just suck you in lol. I can easily see this being an "Act 2" version (even though there's one in the game already) seeing as how just enough instrumentation was changed for a different feeling. I feel like it's a bit short, but adding in some of the other melody lines could easily fix that. Pretty chill song, with some nice variations. Nice work for 2 hours!

GCJ - Nice instrumentation here, really like the bass at 1:35 and the 2:00 section. Arpeggiated sequence there is excellent! A bit long with that second loop. Some additional variations could help justify the length.

PlanarianHugger - A nice chilled track to start of with, reminds me of the credits song from Sonic 2 at some points. A little frustrating as just when it seems to be picking up tempo a bit it drops back down again. Love the Eggman samples spliced in!

GCJ - As you mentioned it's quite a conservative take, but then that's what bonus mixes are all about usually ;) Sounds like the tempo's been lowered slightly, to me it makes it reminiscent of an old skool Sonic game which is awesome.

Trism - You left the volume too low you dingus! No points for you!

PlanarianHugger - Liked the vocals in the start, they are a nice addition. After that I enjoyed the built up, the way everything is put together. Especially liked the stuff on the background.
Trism - The drums are a bit dominant and repetitive, but I like the combination with the other stuff in it.

GCJ - Interesting bonus, it is a long song but a nice improvement.

I enjoyed both, but I felt Trism's wasn't as good, but I'd chalk that up to only spending two hours on it. The transition from the intro to the rest of the song was quite jarring as well, and I kind of liked the intro better. I loved the addition of Eggman's PA announcements in his song, and had an interesting arrangement.

GCJ - Similar structure with a different sound. Some of the synths didn't sound like they fit but I liked it.
Trism - Like the mix of atmospheric and energetic. The synth that comes in around 1:00 sounds off but the drums and bass sound great.
