The Ancient Legend from the 80's - A very clean sounding mix, though the drums probably could have been brought out a bit more.. Love the Xenoblade - Mechonis Field vibes I get from this track. Great job with the track.

The Legend of the Legendary Legend - Maybe I'm just really in the mood to play Xenoblade, but I'm sensing that same kind of vibe at parts. Love the bass when I can hear it.

Halcyon Legend - Volume seems a little low. Was that an intentional decision? Pretty straight forward arrangement. Love the nice reverby, tranquil vibe. Almost reminds me of something from... Xenoblade.

PlanarianHugger - Nice relaxing intro. The stuff on the background is balanced very well.
GCJ - There's much stuff in this song, especially in the start, it's a great combination.
Yami - The volume of this song is much lower as the others. The kick is a bit too dominant. I like the strings in this song.

1) Yami - very calm piece, almost like a mixture of PlanarianHugger and GCJ's mixes, nice touch with the vocals, soft piano works well here, filtered synth rhythms match the atmosphere well and support piano counter melody, half-time drums help capture a sense of urgency along with bass line, with the higher frequencies giving a light airy/mystical feel

2) PlanarianHugger - great chillout tune, nice pads in the background, I like the rhythmic synth you have that starts around 2:38, piano runs add some nice texture, piano might could be a little softer on the velocity, but I think it works alright here, instruments are a little bare, but that benefits this mix greatly

3) GCJ - like the driving bass here, bass and rhythmic part at the beginning help create a sense of urgency against the airy melody, sounds like analog synths which adds in loads of color, not a big fan of the synth you used for the counter melody around 1:36, nice touch with the noise/crackle in the background, nice little switch up in the rhythmic instrument around 2:40

Oh that was tricky. I loved both arrangements, but in the end I had to go with GCJ's. It's really energetic and resonated a bit more with me. But still good work, both of you

Both were pretty close, but Yami's takes the win for me because the in PlanarianHugger's remix sometimes the pluck was overpowering, and the intense sidechaining in a few parts distracted me--though I can't say I'm all that much better in that department.
