FreakyT basically did what I wanted to do with mine, but better. Good mellow piano stuff here.

Supercoolmike had the best handling of the arpeggiated section. I also appreciated the different instrumentation, even if sometimes the drums felt a bit invasive.

PlanarianHugger: I like the understated bass when it comes in. The piano seems a bit plodding when it's on chords, though (like my own piece).

These are all great tracks, good job!

Memories: Just love the sounds in this.

For a friend: Love the ambient feel combined with piano.

Sunrise: Just about tied with Be a Pal for me. Love the piano use.

Be a Pal: Once again, nice piano use!

Melody of the Jupiter Adept: Here I go with terrible sounding songs...

Supercoolmike - I like the sampling, especially in the start of the song. The variation around 2:12 is a good choice. Maybe the song is a little too long.
Chickenwarlord - Again amazing piano playing.
FreakyT - Another nice piano song. I think there are a few notes which are too loud compared to the rest of the song, but I like the variation with that.
PlanarianHugger - This is a very relaxing version of a sad source. The bass is a little too hard at some points of the song.
OneUp - Nice genre choice, you translated a sad source in a living mix.
Chalis - This song is long, I like the stuff you have on the background.

Nice job everyone, after 0 songs before the first extension I didn't expect that this round would end with 6 songs. It was hard to decide who got my first place vote.

Chalis - very relaxing, definitely a song to listen to that just makes u forget about time altogether.

Chickenwarlord - Always love a solo piano performance, however that also makes them the easiest to pick apart if done wrong (unintentional or not). There was some humanization in there, but It still felt like it needed more. The quality of the piano sounded too close to a Midi piano but I did like the notations in this piece.

Freaky T - now this is what I'm talking about for a solo piano performance. an overall good experience to listen to.

PlanarianHugger - I can't help but feel you were building up to something and it never came (It's probably just me though). However I still appreciate the ambiance you built here.

OneUp - Really dig what you did here OneUp. Wasn't expecting a rave like version and It's totally an appreciating change of pace.

FreakyT: Wow, beautiful! Love it when you get jiggy with it at 01:30. This sounds inspired, I think this might be submission worthy.

supercoolmike: Nice sound, I like the synths. The song progression keeps it interesting, I especially like the arp. The beat is a bit static but it fits the track nicely.

PlanarianHugger: I like the harmonics and the mellow vibe with a nice smooth soundscape. There's some interesting original content and it fits well with the source.

Chickenwarlord: Interesting and original as usual. I especially like the ending, nice piano skills!

Chalis: Great atmosphere, the instruments fits well together. Very relaxing at the ending.

"Memories": I really like the intro, but I feel the song gets kind of repetitive as it progresses.

"For a Friend": I liked the use of the heavily quantized piano in the intro, which almost sounds trance-ish. I kept wanting the bass to drop; I feel like pushing the song further into trance territory might have worked better.

"Be a Pal": The piano sounds very much like a default midi instrument and very computerized. I’m not sure what software you’re using, but you might want to consider finding something that can generate higher-fidelity output.

Chickenwarlord - Nice arrangement but the piano just sounds fake to me and it seems a bit low volume wise.
FreakyT - Nice emotive piece. I like the variation in speed and harmonies. Suits the well.
supercoolmike - I enjoyed this song. I appreciate the different instrument choices of this song in comparison to the other entries. Percussion was a little loud in comparison the rest of the instruments.
OneUp - Would have loved to had this one finish. It is up beat in comparison to the other entries. It may be needs some more variation.
Chalis - Long but enjoyable. There was plenty of information to not make it boring. Some more real sounding instruments could have been helpful.
