Chickenwarlord - Nice sampling. The song is a little short and the main lead is the same, but I like the things you used in the song.
Setokaibarocket - Nice, but long, intro. The drums and sampling are great. I like the main part, the bass is only a little too hard. The end is also a bit long.
DjMokram - Direct start. There good synths, and a good built up. The middle part is a little boring and the ending is like the intro.

The lead on seto's is a big step up in likeability from a lot of his past work. I was hoping for a little more melodic interpretation from the middle to the end, but the arps are solid and drums are decently energetic.

Mokram's relaxed attitude towards the source seems a bit muddled at times. The slower tempo exposes some mastering issues.

DjMokram - Nice mix, the overall production is very catchy, and I like the sounds you've used, even though I'm not familiar with Streets of Rage. Nice harmonies with the wide, low buzzy synth and the melodies.

Chickenwarlord - A nice interpretation, but came out second because it didnt sound as full and rick as DjMokram's entry (maybe needs more compression or more layered sounds). Nonetheless, I found the track enjoyable.

--Round 151--

Haven't been entering PRC for a while. But this time, I'm just lucky to be in. ;)
There are so few entries, I wish there were some more.
Anyway, on to the reasoning...

1st - Setokaibarocket: Seto's entry is long and more complex, with lots of polished effects combinations.
Though the genre is the same in other songs, it has a bit more presence and dynamic.
Plus the production is good, and the song entertaining.

2nd - Chickenwarlord: This one is electronica too.
It's a bit shorter, following faithfully the source structure, with a couple of small interesting variations.
The prod is simple & clean, but nothing really stands out.
As stated in the descritpion, it's fairly standard.

See y'all around.

Baghdad Rush 2049 - solid and enjoyable.

Streets of Rush - I like the low, gnarly synths. Quite nice eastern feel. It reminds me of One Must Fall - so beat'em'up feel achieved! Short, feels like a BGM loop rather than a stand-alone piece.

Los Angeles Lag - enjoyed some elements, nice sound even while the samples are plain - main weakness is this "jumpy" sense of structure - things just begin and end without a feeling of bigger picture.

They all sounded pretty good, so I just chose based how pumping the beat was. ;)
